I think they should make a platinum level.
I'm inching close to N7 200 and I still don't have a Widow or Jav let alone an X... So, good for you. Way to ruin the game.

You can take them out with one headshot using a good sniper rifle (unlike Banshees).

Krogans are generally awesome, but I'm not sure they're a very good solution to 6 mobs that have instant kill moves and whose hp looks like a phone number. =/

I am reporting 4 Banshees out at the same time on Wave 10 and 4 or 5 Phantoms (it varies from match to match) out at the same time on Wave 8. I have also seen 3 - 4 Primes out at the same time prior to Wave 10. This started happeneing Tuesday night. This is on SILVER, I am now having about the same luck completeing PUG Silvers as I did Golds last week..
All the extra elites would only be a problem on Glacier, where you can't move aroudn very well. But with the new spawing positions and flanking and getting shot through cloak from half a mile away and dodges/blocks on Cerberus and Geth I can barely reposition without getting torched.

But hey, as long as they're all within rocket aoe distance of each other, I'm cool with it.
if you read from some other posters u dont have a chance to bust out a rocket because their intelligence is also buffed so they spawn together but now if u notice they spread out and look to flank you especially brutes if ur attacking a banshee or even cannibals....

There is no excuse for everyone not using at least one missile on wave ten by killing 2 banshees instantly.
ive had a missile shortage for a while now, definatly every pack today has had zero cobras, just medi-gel or ammo replens, and soem of the silver matches iev had, ive had to use all 5 cobras i did manage to collect just to keep everyone alive (guessing their not using them because their having a shortage as well)

it can be tough (esp those damned phantoms) but hey if the whole game was faceroll why would we bother.
I know i sometimes enjoy having a few heart in mouth moments when the brown stuffs hit the fan.

This morning on Dagger my team wiped on a wave 10 hacking objective that had two ravagers, a brute, and a banshee all waiting for us in the hacking zone. In the wide-open bit in the center of the map there was another brute, another ravager, and another banshee, plus cannibals and marauders. I used two rockets to clear out some of the heavies before we went in for the hack but it was way too much and we wiped quickly.
I've also noticed that now by the time I get to the second deactivation objective Cerberus always has turrets behind a smoke screen waiting for us there.
Maybe I should just try gold. Silver's gotten more difficult and the randoms I play with are ragequitting more than ever and it's made earning credits for premium packs an excruciating experience at times.

I don't have a screenshot, and I am dubious as to whether silver difficulty was buffed (I haven't noticed a serious increase against geth or reapers. Cerberus I can't say either way), but yesterday on a silver match a team I was on had two brutes and a banshee in the LZ when the extraction timer hit zero.

Logical conclusion: Different people are complaining about silver.
According to one of the Bioware people, there was no change to difficulty in the last update.
My theory is: Random teams on silver seem to be getting worse.

For me, this is about average. Maybe dying once in Bronze because I was using a character I was unfamiliar with. I would not suddenly die 3-5 times in a single Bronze game unless I left every 5 minutes to take a ****** break. I'm not a good gamer by any means, I work 40 hours a week and don't have enough free time to learn how to headshot every enemy in sight instantly. I do however know enough to be able to tell when enemies all of a sudden hand me my ass on a platter every 30 seconds. I look at the post-game stats to see that all my recent bronze games went from 20 minutes to 25-30 minutes.
And you would have me believe that all the randoms I match up with also suddenly happen to screw up enough to extend every last recent match by 5 to 10 minutes? On freaking BRONZE?
The insulting part is that the Bioware staff has blatantly DENIED any such changes. More insulting are the fanboys insisting that me and the rest of my team from all over the world, some of whom are likely better players than me given where I sit on the totem pole as a casual player, are suddenly and constantly screwing up my every game.
You want to challenge players? Make a PLATINUM league where every player can bask in the thrill of being instantly headshot by 20 mobs if they so much as pop their head out of cover for half a second. Forcing thousands of players into a challenge will not make them happy campers. This is a bit like removing casual, normal, and hard difficulties from single player and leaving players only with insanity mode. It's like making everybody play Demons Souls or Dark Souls regardless of whether or not they want to do the digital equivalent of breaking down a cement wall with their foreheads.

I don't know. Maybe. After all my bellyaching I just had a phenomenal game against Cerberus--in Reactor, no less, which is a map that usually gives me fits. Played with a really good Novaguard; he and my Asari Adept made beautiful 'splosions together. Sometimes you get a really good team. I guess random is random and you just have to take the good with the bad.
