Question: posted on other info also but looking for a aswner to see if I am right or way off..
I got done mass effect 3 wile ago got the pre order for Ps3 PC was not up to running the game, them had to buy mass effect 2 because my account from PC did not carry over from MS1 and 2. quick run up on Mass effect 2 got me back into the game and got to the end. # picks all bad. IMO
not that main player gets killed off but the hole galaxy is destroyed,,, How well if you recall in the mass effect 2 you destroy a relay to delay the reapers. this destroy the system and about 320k people in that system. Now at the end any pick destroy every relay and which would kill off most of the main worlds also in 2 of 3 reapers fly off. there is NO relay so if anyone live they can't jump to the other systems and the game is now DEAD.. No way can you have a next game if all the relays are down.. most of everyone for the next million years is gone, Earth is gone the citidel plus the relay in sol system blow up. What are they thinking...

No biggie. This is a "popular" thread anyway. Regardless, if Bioware uses parts of or all of the I.T. is up for debate but I am actually excited to see if Bioware does it.

Yeah, I think we are all "excited" the only problem is that we all got our souls crushed by the ending as it is right now lol.

The latter outweighs the former =]

People like the OP force me into a tough dilemma.

Laugh hysterically when they are utterly shattered, come the Extended Cut, or weep in sympathy and pity.

For now, I'm leaning toward the former.

One thing I want to know was.... what was with Boy's stealth hi-bye in the duct at the beginning? Completely silent? The VERY NEXT MISSION Liara is going through a similar duct and it sounds like she is being escorted by a stampeding herd of elephants - and that's NOT including the sound of the occasional gunshot. And she's not moving as fast as Boy must have been!

IT may not be what was intended, but it makes the ending easier to 'deal with' as it were, because then you can think 'ha but that was fake and actually what happened at the end is that the Crucible fires RAAAAINBOWWWWS" and you know what, I'm fine with that.

EDIT: Add that with the ending of 'Arrival' and the consequences of FINAL EVENT, and compare that with ME3's ending, the state of everything and blah trying to avoid using any spoilers

Exactly true, that's something else that I never thought about....now that you mention it it's actually quite funny, because the kid does "disappear" without making a sound while Liara is moving slower and making so much noise it's almost starting to sound like dubstep lol.

Also, yeah for now, no matter how much "evidence" there is to support IT theory, it is indeed just a theory that lets us cope with the horrible horrible ending as is right now....

Well I thank you for not laughing hysterically and if the EC comes out and IT theory isn't true, I have a feeling we'll both be crying on each other's shoulders....:crying:

Why creating a new thread just to say things that IHT supporters are saying all the time.

If you still need to say yourself "its true, it must be true" isnt there something wrong?

If you believe in something you dont need to say it out loud all the time to feel good about it

Dude....these are the "forums", you know, that thing where you write to say stuff and have conversations? I didn't make another thread to tell people WHY IT theory is true, I just made a thread to talk about how I feel personally about the ending and how I personally believe and hope that IT theory is true and how I feel about the Mass Effect games.

I'm not "saying it out loud all the time to make myself feel good", the point was to talk about how I feel about the game and the ending, the possibility of IT theory being true or not, and how others feel about it and relate to it.

Honestly, your post comes across as being quite arrogant and condescending....I would suggest rethinking your contributions to a thread before essentially writing "shut up" albeit in a longer more veiled manner...

We are all here to have some fun and pass the time after all...;)

IT is the only explanation to make some sense so far. And they said indoctrination would play a role in ME3, right? so? jack easter egg and the big stupid jellyfish? I mean, they did it right with Shiala, and Tanoptis, in the emails, but it would seem, i dunno, not quite enough. So suddenly the reapers are just big starships with a powerful claxon. that is it.

Yeah not to mention that as well. All along we're beat over the head with how the Reapers are this thing beyond our comprehension that not only are devastating war machines but also enslave organics just by being in proximity with them.

So if IT theory isn't true, then basically they got turned into big as* spaceships with a space horn? To go beep beep when they need to signal they're switching lanes?

I can't believe that...I just can't.

ROFL!! If Sovereign and Harbinger are not rolling over and laughing their tenacles off!! Having said that, it is shameful how dumbed down they got - and that is not to say how suddenly smart we (humans) got.

That analogy -- just damn! Reapers win!!

I'm amazed by how many players willingly swallowed Sovereign's BS.

Exactly! Gotta feel bad for the characters that did though.

However, I think it was the "The mofo sounds so awesome; therefore, I'll eat up whatever he says!"

Seriously, look how hard he stomps on Harbinger - who said the same BS, but "not as cool as Sovereign!"

Then, there's Rannoch Reaper - who Shepard (you) barely glanced at (and he came close to Sov's "coolness")

But that Kid? No way he's believable! And how many scoffed at his presence during the start of the game? ("Cheap Catharsis")

Funny, how the kid was used, so Shepard (you) could "understand" him, but it didn't happen - especially since you couldn't tell him to "bite it" like Sovy, Harbinger, TIM ...

yeah the lack of interaction between Shepard and any of the reapers except on one mission is really really disappointing in ME3.... :(
