hmm. .just did the summoning sciences little side quest and didn't really get anything. I summoned 3 people, first droped a gem, 2nd did nothing, and 3rd dropped some crappy mage gloves.

that was it. The note said it shouldn't be attempted durring this disturbance. Do you get more/something else if you come back and do it after the circle tower quest? because it seems quite pointless right now. i saved before doing it so i can come back and do it later

I just assumed that was a recommendation to not do it before you've cleared the room/floor, since you have to run around a lot and would end up pulling quite a few monsters on the way.

What I'm really curious about is the fourth summoning. I assume there is one, since there's four summoning fires, but where are the instructions for it, or are you supposed to experiment to find the correct order of activating the various spots?

As for the fourth, all you should do is just repeat 1st~3rd.

the fourth summoning is an easter egg. Just do all the steps of 1 thru 3 summoning, minus the intermediate summoning font, and summing flame(obviously) bit. The only thing you can do with the 4th summon is try to pickpoket it.

One of the Chantry quests is to hunt down and destroy one the summonings ( If you do it while the tower is under siege ) Since I only did 2 summons before moving on...if you did all 4...who knows.



The quest says something about you having to destroy the summons you " inadvertently" created....I ran across a monster on a random encounter and then the quest updated....



Don't think you get the quest if you've already cleared the tower and then do the summoning bit.

so in order to get the bonus chantry quest you HAVE to do it durring the siege?
