Honestly, that's what I call a cool story bro. Such a riveting tale, I honestly copy and pasted it to word, saved on my hard drive, backed it up on a jump drive, drove to the bank, put the jump drive in the safe deposit box, and will leave it there until my kids turn about 12 (when they can actually state their age, and ask what it is I'm showing them), when I will pick it up, put it in an old USB drive reader and relay this cool story to them and tell them, "kids, this is what a cool story should look and sound like...not like the stories your generation tells.

I would not say it is an AI buff, but rather a mix of enemy buffs and increased spawn numbers. The devs DEFINITELY did something to make things a lot harder and I do not mean buffing health. A gold farm op on giant against geth (during a round 10 hack) nearly turned to slaughter as nearly a half dozen hunters and pyros swarmed out of nowhere and camped our soon to be downed bodies. It got so bad we needed to hit them with rockets.

the mobs are not more difficult, but there are more of them and more higher levels.

or it just could be NEW players joining every weekend (businesses report that most sales are from Thurs to Sunday) starting Wed/Thurs night & ending Sunday night, thus most random groups are full of inexperienced players

developers own statistics show that less than 5% of game
buyers/players even visit/read the games forums so most don't know about
Gold guides or any the points
outlined by previous posters or below (thus, they think & act like it's CalloDuty/ModernWarfare or Battlefield) --

ME3 sold 1+ million copies & shipped 3.5 million in just the 1st week so it's millions more players after 4 weeks

--yet
look at the views in the forums threads... each thread has only a few
thousand views & even the stickied official ones by the developers
only have 45,000 views AFTER 4 weeks!

That's less than 1% of players even reading the forums

Most of them come fom CAll Duty or Battlefield where they're used to running around, trying to rack up kills & not taking cover & using Avengers/Phaestrons & carrying 2 weapons

O.o....Geth, Harder? Psh, I have been getting bored of the geth on gold. I personally think things should be increase in the hored amount. Then again....if YOU are good you only need to LEAD the team and not worry about anything else. Got a mic, learn to command. You want to win, make them keep up with you, nuff said. Got a low N7 rank? Psh, pump out more promotions.

But, if you need help, drop me a message and I can give you my GamerTag. Hint..it is the same as my Forum name. =Shock.=

You didn't notice because there is none. OP must be hallucinating (or playing worse).

As "easy" as silver or gold can get you can still die if you screw up. And if everyone is screwing up then you will all die. I think the difference is in the gamer not the game. It is very difficult to be consistently great at anything.

Battlefield isnt about running around racking up kills....
Its about the objective and requires tactics to win....
And cover is important, it just works differantly and it can be destroyed...

I agree about COD though....

OP is whiny ****.
Cloak is Overpowered as hell, improved AI wouldn't change that even if it were true you just wouldn't be able to roflcopter gold matches without any effort put into actually being stealthy
If your playing a Infilly class you deserve a greater challenge because no class is easier to beat gold with by a long shot.

Played Quarian infiltrator

Laughed at how easy geth suddenly was.

What AI buff?

Actually I just tested out several Geth games on Silver, and I admit something has changed about them.

They seem...harder now. I didn't notice them targeting my stealthed Quarian infiltrator, but they certainly were spawning behind us more often than before, and while it may have been a breeze to farm Geth Silvers before, it is now harder.

Huh, AI still seems dumb to me, and gold still seems easy.  None of my strategies have stopped working or diminished in efficacy, so I haven't really noticed any changes.

Still, I can only think of improving the AI as a REALLY GOOD thing.  The OP crying and ragequitting over an improvement to the game is just mind-bogglingly stupid.

Edit:  And I see that the Bioware poster just assured us that there were no stealth changes, which supports the position that the OP is a whiny delusional nutjob.

I'm not really complaining, but playing last night (Thursday night) seemed a bit harder than the last time I played more than one match (Sunday). Whether it be more mobs, tougher mobs, or mobs spawning in multiple spots at once more often, I don't know.

tbh i noticed a little difference on gold with the geth and cerberus. on gold geth they can hit you perfectly with rockets even stealthed like it doesnt even matter.

cerburus seem to pinpoint exact location with nades so i swapped out from infiltrator to adept now i just go round novablasting anything in my way lolz..

as for silver the only noticed difference is the ammount of banshee's spawning in when ever theres a hack.. geth and cerburus seem unchanged to me..

Is it me or did they do exactly that since the launch?

Hunters always gunned right for you as an infiltrator unless you have a decoy down, Pyro's always fire blast your last position if you're an infiltrator so if you don't get out of their range attack you're going to get charred, if you're an infiltrator and Cloak as a rocket tropper is aiming he'll still hit you, Phantom's always seem to IRON MAN HAND PULSE CANNON PEW PEW PEW if you clock in front of them till you're far far out of their range/los, cannibals and cerberus troops always have a knack for chucking their nades right between your feet all the time.

I play because I enjoy it.

It is no longer enjoyable.

I will no longer play.

You can't have my stuff, since you never gave me the commendation pack from the first weekend mission and never reimbursed any of my lost items or credits from the store glitch.

So, a big **** You Too, Mother ****ers! Since thats basically what you have told me by your lack of response to these issues, and the recent stealth buff to the AI that completely dimishes the ability to enjoy the game in random groups above Bronze (while I 'had' been enjoying Gold matches with a select group of friends...but we aren't always on at the same time).

/end rant
/end Bioware

You might be the most experienced newbie I've ever met. A... king of the noobs if you will.

I welcome any and all "realistic" AI improvements. Enemies better at flanking maneuvers? Awesome. Enemies not standing in the open in tight clusters? Awesome.

Keep the tweaks coming! I love the challenge, but just make sure the other end of the AI also works. For example, cover fire from an SMG/AR should cause enemies to react by staying in cover or whatnot.

I can assure you, there has been no changes to the game difficulty apart from the ones Eric has been posting.

Edit: With 1 exception, when there was less brutes for operation fortress because of the events from operation goliath (that one was announced by Chris Priestly)

No intentional changes perhaps.  In 10 years of MMORPGs, I've seen a whole lot of difficulty changes that were completely unintended but very real.  Ask any programmer, computer code is like frickin' time travel.  You can change one thing and it'll have a significant effect on something that seems completely unrelated.  One time I had a problem with telnet server software not working, and after over a month of troubleshooting I found it was a conflict with the mouse driver I was using.  To this day I can't fathom how a mouse driver could conflict with a telnet server app.  Computers do freaky things sometimes.  And a lot of people seem to be seeing a difficulty change as of the past few days.  Maybe it's cause and effect.  People are seeing it because they're looking for it now.  Or maybe something really is up.

Whining aside, I DO have to note that the AI is certainly improved as in earlier games the phantom would never shoot me with their palm. I don't mind the increased challenge much as it almost makes me feel like I'm playing against human players that are somewhat scrubs and have less stats than I do.

Just pretty please do something about the ridiculous accuracy, as it is a common issue among poor shooters when the AI instantly shoots you in the head the very second you stick it out even if you're on the high ground and you moved from where you stuck your head out the last time.

Again, not that I have a problem ducking under cover before my shields die out in a gold match, but it's getting ridiculous on bronze when all my teammates die and I have to go revive them, which is a bit much to ask for an Asari adept or any non sentinel or infiltrator class.

Are you sure, man? Enemies dodge powers more than ever, Cerberus puts up turrets at an insane rate, and enemies are much quicker to execute when you down. But I guess it could be a coincidence that so many people are finding the game more difficult all at the same time.

The difference is you changed code, we have not released any code changes.
The changes that Eric posts are config file changes (I look at the source of them)
