The game needs way more publicity. They didnt even give it a chance to win best rpg, let alone best game. Personally I enjoyed witcher 2 more than skyrim ( which won), but that could be because I prefer story driven gameplay.

lol they can't even make games work let alone replace Bioware who infact kept them on life support giving them AAA franchises left and right and they still can't get their crap together. They are on the verge of closing shop

I always really wanted to see what these two companies could achieve if they teamed up on a project. Bioware, in the past, always seemed like the more sensationalist storytellers, and Obsidian were the more intellectual/philosophical ones. Would've been really cool to see them join forces on an RPG.
Alas, doesn't look like that will ever happen, and judging by the recent Bioware games, I don't really see it working that well anymore.

I would totally aviod BulletStorm if I where you :/
Never played Space Marine though
And if you get The Witcher 1 on PC
makes sure to get the HD texture pack. Makes the difference xD lol

Not really. FemShep is a badass, whereas default ManShep is modelled off an effete Dutch male model, who probably has a glass jaw.

Ok, I'll bite. Without spoilers, tell me about the basic gameplay. Recruiting squadmates? "Anyone can die" mentality? Choices carrying over between games? Legitimate questions, I know little to nothing about the The Witcher games.

I liked the Witcher 1 and 2 but... I wouldnt put the witcher on the level of Bioware...
I mean do you guys not remember the HORRIBLE combat of the witcher 1? With 2 not being that much better? Also... The dialogue in that game can be down right dreadful... I cringed many a time in that game as Geralt said something awkward.
and the voice acting... Many including me were bugged by Dianne allers voice acting, but the witchers voice acting was downright bad.
again Lemme say I very much enjoyed the games, but lets not raise CD Projekt up an unrealitic amount just because bioware totally botched the ending.
