Assumption:  The endings are to be taken at face value.

Whats up with the bizzaro user interface system of the Crucible/Citadel/Catalyst (Critalyst?)?

Walk into/grab electrically discharging shock devices?

Jump into a giant beam?

Shoot (!?) the load bearing 'power conduit' of the Reapers?

A lot of this stuff was why I bought into the Indoctrination Theory before the recent announcements.  It seems ridiculously metaphoric.
