Doing a playthrough in which Kaidan lived, I'm just wondering how far along the story does it take to unlock each of those?
What points do you unlock Reave and Barrier?

After he rejoins your team, if you let him, and after going through some dialogue trees. Sorry I don't have specifics, but it is a decent way through the main story.

I got Reave after a side mission while Rannoch was my Priority Mission. Don't remember when I got Barrier.
