Alright so we won't be getting any alternate/altered endings in the new dlc. We have to assume that all of the plot holes and inconsistencies will still be there. As much as that displeases me, I can deal with it because at the end of the day, Mass effect 3 isn't something I worked on. The fact that Bioware has chosen to provide this extended cut should be good enough for everyone since they didn't have any obligation to provide us with any extra ending content in the first place...let alone any FREE content. I feel you with regards to the ending (the most disappointing ending I have ever experienced) but people seriously need to let it go. The ending was never going to be changed so just deal with it and move on.

With that said, what would you guys like to see expanded upon in the upcoming dlc? Here's a list of some things I'd like to see expanded upon.

1. This one is probably the one everyone wants an answer to. Have the mass relay explosions killed most life in the galaxy? As established in "The arrival" the explosion of a mass relay releases enough energy to rival that of a super nova. I'd like to know if anyone else besides Buzz Aldrin and his little buddy are alive in the galaxy.

2. Speaking of Buzz...was he a decendant of the crew of the Normandy? That planet that he was on sure did look like the one the Normandy crashed on. If these people are calling our hero "The Shepard" then this must take place at least 1000 years in the future. If this is the case then these people must be insanely inbred since there were less than 20 people onboard the Normandy. Maybe it's only 100 years in the future and they call him "The Shepard" because years of inbreeding have made them dumb? So yeah, I want to know exactly who these people are.

3. Staying on the subject of the Normandy, I'd like to find out why exactly Joker decided to flee the battle with your allies in tow. It seems pretty messed up that people who have fought and suffered along with Shepard would abandon him/her all of a sudden.

4. If the mass relays DIDN'T kill off nearly every lifeform in the galaxy, I want to see what becomes of the alien fleets stuck on Earth.

5. I want to see what happens to the alien species that Shepard dealt with throughout the series. How are the Quarians and Geth getting along? Have the Krogan decided to finally get past their war like nature and become more civilized?

That's all I can think of right now but if I get any more ideas I'll edit this post. I'm very curious to see what you guys want expanded so let's see what you got. Let's try to keep it civil if we can. Yes the ending was horrible but let's get past that and focus on this upcoming dlc and what we want out of it.

I don't want anything from the end expanded upon. As long as StarJar is in the game, the ending is junk.

I want to see Shepard explode StarChild with a logical paradox and then find a real solution to the war.

I want to see them tone back the "obliterate all galactic society because of reasons" angle, this shouldn't be a complete dead-end for the series. I don't give a flying feather about civilizations 10K years down the line, those aren't the one I've grown attached to.

- If the relays are destroyed, I want reassurance that travel between systems is still possible, if less convenient, and the victory fleet won't be forced to kill and eat each other in the Sol system.

- When the Normandy crashes there should be:
1: A reason it was retreating in the first place.
2: A scene where they explain how and why my squadmates are on there
3: Proof that the crew can and will escape from their "Giligan's Planet" scenario and not starve to death.

- Some kind of satisfying LI ark payoff for god's sake, "I hope we don't die" isn't great closure to what is ostensibly a love story. If Shepard lives he/she should have the opportunity to reunite with their LI, period.
