Still it's weird that I paid 75 € for a pre-order collector's edition and now it is up to the community to fix the bugs. Most inconvinient.

This is a reason I don't buy the most expensive versions, such as collector editions... it's bad enough paying £40 for the regular version and not have it work properly - and then have the people fail to fix it.

Alright, here's my fuel to the fire. This is from the 360 version. I played as this character in ME1 and ME2. I don't remember if I changed anything after the import into ME2. The import into ME3 given to me is nowhere near close to looking like the character I played in previous games. I don't know how to do any of the fancy gibbed file transfer modifications to retrieve my prior character, nor do I feel comfortable with modding my save file. The patch did not fix my issue - it didn't actually do anything for me.
I have no confidence that Bioware will fix this issue and no confidence in their abilities to fix this even if they did want to. I did end up creating my own femshep by comparing to pictures I took of my ME2 femshep on my phone. I did get something that at least resembled my femshep, but it's like an 80% facsimile. I did have to abandon this hair style because in ME3 this hair style looks like femshep is balding on the left side. With the new hair style I picked (all the way right on the slider), there is a strand of hair that is clipping through her forehead that I did not notice during character creation and now have no opportunity to fix it. There is literally a strand of hair that enters the left side of her forehead and exits out the right side with a 3 inch gap between the entry and exit point. I can't take my eyes off this gap while watching the cutscenes. I just stare at the ineptitude of the Bioware design crew.

Yours is showing a default Shepard preset, so deleting the code might help you. As you say, it should not be necessary for you to do with 3rd party tools. It's still broken. They should fix it for the sake of console users.

Mine does exactly the same thing.. but you can't delete the code on 360 as far as I know.

Gibbed's save editor may be employed to delete face codes from XBox 360 Mass Effect 3 save files.

Where can I find that to take a look?

You need the ME2 version. Copy your ME2 save game to usb, load your ME2 saved game in Gibbed, delete the face code, make a new save. Copy that to your 360, then import with ME3.
The face code is in Squad -> Player -> Appearances -> Face Code

Woah woah woah. ^^ THIS is a preset?! That looks the same as my ME3 shep imported from ME2. So does that mean my import failed too and defaulted to a preset?
Or do all blonde ME3 sheps look the same?
PS, I'm on PC, and this is an ME2 fresh creation, imported into ME3. No ME1.

Does this method work for PC ME3 too?Vhalkyrie wrote...
