Guys I need to share this:

By adding the missing variables stated on ihnoc's blog and using woodbyte's Project Lazarus mapping, I was able to get a very good representation of my Shep...although in my serious playthrough I'll change her hair (the custom sexy for ME3 isn't doing it for me).

Care to share how you did the  mapping of the vertices?

That's a major improvment.

Looks like Lazarus Project is really going to fix this...!

Great! Glad it worked for you!  I'm amazed it fixed the eyes for you!  I'm hopeful!

I downloaded and installed .NET Framework 4 and XNA Framework 4, ran the Lazarus program with the readme at http://code.google.c...rus/wiki/README

I did a side-by-side comparison of the ME2 and ME3 saves, added the variables from ME2 that was missing from ME3 http://faceeffect.bl...-variables.html

It took about 10 minutes to do everything, but the results are pretty awesome. Other than not being able to import my Shep's purple eyes, I think ihnoc and woodbyte are great for doing this for us . I don't know why BioWare couldn't do this at first...I'm just shocked at the difference.

"Artistic integrity" can't really speak for the results of the little tweaks. Now my Shep looks like she's part of the ME world again, not some oddball cartoon face.

Why don't you, Bioware, and EA all hold hands and dance around in your magical little circle of social and corporate irresponsibility.

:o  Results like this are giving me hope again.  Keep up the amazing work guys!

Edit: I WAS going to try it but I guess it's not gonna work for 360 yet.  Any news on that?

I also need to add just in case...I added the variables in Gibbed first before mapping the face through the Lazarus program. Not sure if it makes a difference, but for those who are looking for similar results. I hope it works for everyone!

So really you just changed the variables right?  I thought woodbyte's program merely helps in understanding where the LODs go?

You are aware that this is a video game forum right?  Seems to me it that this would be the appropriate place to discuss matters concerning video games.  I'm not exactly sure how you expected anything you wrote to be helpful to anyone.  Where I come from you don't insult things people care about in some attempt of helping the matter...

I had to rebuild my femsheps face from scratch in ME3 because it looked nothing like I made her like back in ME1 ... sad to say I was not happy trying to mimic a character I made back in 2007 lol

I am curious: do you suffer physical discomfort as a direct consequence of your mental incompetence?

Better than 18 hour trolling sessions on the internet in a desperate attempt to make oneself feel some slight sense of false superiority.

Ranger Rover, you're an idiot if you can't empathize with the people on this forum. Also, you make leaps in logic with little support of any real evidence or data of the people in this thread other than your own assumptions. So quit being a tool.
