When I was investigating the missing MorphFeatures variables, I found they affected LOD forced rebuild (deleting them). I don't remember them affecting existing LOD, as OffsetBones does, but I may be wrong.Vhalkyrie wrote...
@Clarian: Did you add any of the missing variables before import? I'm unsure whether it makes a difference (it didn't seem to give me anything noticeable, but I was very tired when I tried it.) Just curious.

That has been my observation as well, but mireisen said it worked for her.

NICE!
The eye shape in ME2 looks more artistic. Yay art.
Look at how much more lifelike the ME2 iris is.
I think, this is also the reason, along with the open eyes, why they seem to stare all the time.
The pupil is smaller and the iris seems to be just painted ON the eyebal, instead of bein behind the clear part of the lense, a bit sunken INTO the eyeball. Its the same effect as when someone is waring fake color lenses.
Glad you all are working on a solution

For the eyelash pic that I posted, no, I didn't add missing variables. It was just a quick test, since I knew the LOD maps aren't complete yet anyway.
Once they are, I may try what mireisen said to see if it makes any difference (unless I'm totally satisfied with what Lazarus Project does on its own).

Very good point.
Improved lighting, shaders, and textures...right.

Lazarus improved base face shape and nose (which I cannot change with OffsetBones). Eyes/mouth did not translate in my case, and I would have needed to invest more time into mapping, so those were copied manually. With the facial changes, the profile looks a lot more like what I was expecting in game, especially in the jaw. With the new ME3 face meshes, the back jaw where it joins the mandible has been given a more heart shaped line.

Skin texture and hair are still significant to the look. Bottom left image has been retouched (more light) from the base ME3 screencap so features are more visible. I can't find a hair mesh that I like, so for now sticking with the one that I've got. Hair color experiments aren't going well. I never was very good at mixing paint - lol.

In the sense that the QA for this game is below average. I get that making a game is tough. It's something I could never do, but letting a game ship with this kind of bug (ontop of a whole list of others) says something about what goes on there at the studio.
Yeah we hear "our team worked hard" and I'm sure they do. But its obvious there are some things they dont put nowhere near as much effort on. Regardless of whatever they believe the situation is on their end they should bear in mind what this looks like to their customers. It comes off as extremely lazy and uncarring on their part. It makes me think that to them it's perfectly okay to release the game with big errors like this. If they didn't know about it, then it makes them look dumb for not bothering to check in the first place. If the did know then they said screw it. Neither one of those is a good thing.
So ontop of all that angsting they release a patch that really doesn't seem to fix the issue according to what people are posting here.
It's sad.

BioWare either needs a public acknowledged bugs list/tracker, or significantly more customer interaction. And I don't mean Twitter, unless they can respond reliably (I haven't gotten a response to any of my 12 or so tweets about this issue).
Edit: Also, looks like we've broken 1 000 posts. Sigh

At this point I'm still engaged in this for the fun/challenge of it. If this is what I had got to begin with at release, I would have been satisfied.

Edit: I also wanted to point out the animation looks better AFTER the tweaking. Her eye no longer pops out through her eyelides etc.

Though it'd be more appropriate if Bioware bought your time and tools and made an official patch. Or offered you Bioware points at least.

Now...just wondering but I probably wont be able to restore my shep right?
Reasons:
Xbox360 user
Own a Mac not a PC (I know, I know)
Am not particularly fluent in some of the aspects of using the different programs required to get this working anyways.
Or is there hope for me too?
