The guy who drew the artworks of Jane Shepard must be crying out loud when you see how the in game character is nowhere near as beautiful as his drawings.
Just my taste but i think they completely f***ed her up, like seeing a beautiful woman while drunk and then a big WTF!?! at wake up.

Here's another go at the default Shepard:

I simply copied the hair colour over to the highlights as well. Removes the shining effect, but I believe the colour is much better now.

I made the base using CC in the game, then used gibbed to tweak offset bones, LOD vertices, scaler and vector parameters 8)

I had this same problem with the lips. Try one of my custom maps and see if it works better for you. This is the r17/18 map with just the mouth unmapped.
lod_mapping-excludemouth-1-0.xml Right click-save as. Unmaps back of lower lip only.
lod_mapping-excludemouth-1-1.xml Right click-save as. Unmaps mouth.
The second one works better for me.

I think this person on MassEffect2Faces.com did a better job of making the 'new' default Shepard based on the art.

Alright, I got one more to try.
Astralify's Map This maps the eyes and eyelashes only. If your basic face shape translated ok, then this might improve things as the eyes are the biggest thing they borked.
If you want to map the nose, too, this is probably an easier starting point.

Those 2 shots are disturbing-ly close to Jane profile features; I saw your earlier request - trying her, in game with the headmorph - i'm unfortunately unable to do it. I hope someone else tried it and will be more helpfull.
