Guys, I really feel like this boycott needs to happen. Think about it. 60 dollars for a new game. Multiply that by the 60,000 people who like this page. (the Demand a better Ending facebook page) That comes to around $3,600,000. And that is if the people in this page alone were to not buy the game in the first place.

OF COURSE. We all did. But lets think about it some more. A new DLC, for me, would cost around 5 or 10 dollars for microsoft points. And thats for 1 DLC. (Total DLC's for ME2 were in the teens? Someone get back to me on that.) We could boycott these DLCS and leave just as big of impact (IF NOT BIGGER!!!) than if we were to never by the game.

And, quite honestly, boycotting could be the pinnacle of our fandom. As non-violent as protests get!

Think about it. THE VAST MAJORITY of Mass Effect Fans (I capitalized that 'F' in "Fans" for a reason) united under a simple belief that; Mass Effect isn't just a product of some artistic visionary. It may be that, but that is just one of the many things that Mass Effect is TO US. Every Shepard, every crew member is a part of OUR ARTISTIC VISION. Every choice made, every path taken, every sacrifice created a meaning within us. It created a Shepard within us, the gamer.

AND THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PART ABOUT IT IS

No two Shepards are the same. We each have our own story to tell. Why should our hours of gaming, hours of quarrelling and pacing the floor be entirely dismissed in a few lousy minutes at the end of the game.

The Shepard I know would have asked the questions I wanted to ask. He would have exhausted every nook and cranny of possible dialougue and theorism.

...my Shepard would have lived. He would have saved everyone.

...he saved Wrex on Virmire. He saw everyone through The Collector Base. And I'll be damned if he didn't unite every damn specimen within The Milky Way to take part in the fans' woven story.
