Okay, let me start by saying I am probably one of the biggest fans of the Mass Effect series, books, lore, history, you name it. I love it and can't get enough. I just wish I had more money so I could buy more.

I ran into an issue with ME3. Multiplayer effects the single player game. I do not like multiplayer, and I am not very good at multiplayer shooters, even though I do very well with campaigns. I do not enjoy multiplayer and I resent that there is content of the game that I may never see, or dialogue that I may never hear if I don't play multiplayer and on top of that, score well. That is exactly why I loved Mass Effect so much, sure it's a shooter, but it is a role play game first and foremost, that is what sets it apart.

I also hate that there are offshoot games for mobile devices that effect game play in ME2 (I don't know about ME3), no matter how small. I just learned about Mass Effect Galaxies. There is a conversation that I will forever miss out on even if I play the series 600 times. I didn't even know that these mobile games existed until yesterday and now it is too late to even get Galaxies because they don't sell it anymore. Heck, I am a big enough fan that if I had the money, I would buy a tablet or ipad or whatever and play the mobile game just so I can hear someone cough if it's a possibility in the game. In other words, I bought the games, and I should have the ability to get everything they have to offer me.

Back to multiplayer and how it effects the game or endings or whatever it effects. I don't like being manipulated into having to play something I don't wish to play. But now I feel the NEED to do it, or else I am missing something. There is a 25% XP bonus going on right now. I figured I would have to take off work and spend my ransomed time playing multiplayer this week.

This is my multiplayer experience: I go into a game, someone notices my low score or that I am new and boots me from the game. Eventually I ended up just creating my own game and being the only player there. That isn't fun to me. At least I can gain levels though by killing one bad guy before they stomp my head into the ground. Is that enough though, or do I need to win battles with teams to make the difference in the galactic readiness of the game?

I haven't even been able to play any of the campaign yet, and already I am resenting the game, which is heart breaking. Something needs to be done about this lapse in judgement, Please!

Thank you.  Please remember your fans.

edit: I just saw this post that helps me feel a bit better, but my main points remain the same, I want to get all the game has to offer, even conversations, without having to buy more than the game itself.
