No one ask for them to clarify the crap ending. We asked to be given what they've marketed to us for 5 years. A game where our choices matter, and the current ending ignores all of our choices.
*sigh* I'd love to have an intellectual discussion on this point, but i really doubt you're the right person to have that with.
Do you really think we're all pathetic? I mean, really? The majority of people I see have posted perfectly legitimate concerns and then are told by people that we're "whiny", "entitled" and all sorts of other names. And honestly, had your initial post not insulted me in some great sweeping generalized insult I might actually value your opinion somewhat. But really, a mass insult at the start is just plain not nice and narrow-minded.

You are pathetic. BioWare is giving you exactly what you have been asking for: clarification, closure and blue babies and you are still whining. BioWare could have ignored you but instead they give you what you want but you ungrateful "fans" are still complaining. I have a tip for you: If you hate the ME3 ending so much(I didn't like it either) and are still rageing when they have said that they will fix it, how about you just leave the forums and stop bother the vast majority that are true fans and are happy with the extended cut. I have heard that Diablo 3 will come out within a month, maybe that can make you forget ME3? (I am talking about the rabbid dogs that spew their pathetic hate on the forums, NOT the people that come with constructive criticism about the ending)
Good lord we've got some ignorant people on here. I love when someone thinks they have the right to decide who does and doesn't qualify as a fan. I'm a fan of my university's football team. Does that mean I can't boo if they put in a QB who's thrown 40 interceptions over one who's scored 40 Touchdowns? You have no right to tell other people whether or not they are a fan of something. The fact that you think you do have that right means that you are the absolute worst sort of moron, the kind that isn't content just with his own ignorance, but has to spread it to others as though it's correct. Please remove yourself from the gene pool as soon as possible.

Chrillze, I like what they're doing with the extended cut too -- it's not everything I'd like to see, but it's a nice gesture, and it could go a long way toward patching things over.
But if you talk like this, no one will listen to you.

The thread I got all the quotes from:
http://social.biowar...ndex/10204263/1
So, I didn't get an ending that was optimal for me, I wasn't able to do what I would do at the end, I received no answers, and I certainly did not feel like an architect or co-creator. What I felt like happened was they gave me a bucket of pre-select Lego bricks, told me to build something with them, and then, after I was finished, took what I made back and rearranged it into something they wanted to make to begin with, and then proceed to get mad at my anger when they refuse to explain why I was told to make something at all.
And to make matters worse, now the people that are complaining about the people saying the ending was ******-poor are telling said people that they shouldn't feel like the architects or co-creators because it was Bioware's work of art to do with what they saw fit---which would be fine if they say fit to make a story without any in-game input from the player, but they didn't. They saw fit to hand the narrative for each player to tell, making them, instead, the creators of many possible outcomes.
If you want to make something to present to me, fine. But don't tell me I'm the architect, give me a pen, and then substitute my blueprints for yours when building the ultimate structure. (which, going along with the horrendous implications of the ending, is then demolished. . . what the hell was the point at all?)

I'm wondering if this Free DLC is as much an attempt to placate people as it is to spur others to say "look you got what you wanted, why are you still complaining?" when they don't understand exactly why people think the endings are bad.

I'm just gonna crtl+v what I posted in another topic;
There's no clarification in the world to justify that unholy kid. Actually, there's;
If Harbinger and Soverign are rogue reapers and everything we knew about the "old machines" were lies told by the rogue Reapers. And also, no clarification can explain why Shepard just accept every single world the kid says without confrontation, questions or anything at all.
I don't care if Shepard dies. I don't care if my squad dies. I don't care if the galaxy is almost destroyed. I can live without unicorns and rainbows in my ending.
I just want it to make sense. A good written narrative that follows the ME plots and logic. And IMHO sticking with The Catalyst as a omniscient organic lover/reaper commander godly entity and is a hole so big in the story that cannot be fixed.
this dear OP, as always the company fails at geting the point. I dont care for some happy ending, hell bittersweet is what I pretty much expected, but we did not get bittersweet, but shallow, worthless, sensless crap.
a clarification DLC will make it half as bad to swallow the pill, but not realy that better.
