It is fixable, by retconning him out and creating a new ending. The lack of closure and all of that stuff are only "minor". The major complaints about the ending is the whole concept of the godchild and the lack of impact regarding out decisions.

no i wont, and as I stated in many other threads for a month now, I urge others to do the same. By delivering an unsatisfactory product they have relieved themselves of any cash I was willing to spend.

The catalyst in its current capacity largely invalidates the action of Saren/Sovereign in ME1. Why bother taking over the citadel when the citadel is part of the godchild? It also makes much of ME2 make little sense. The foreshadowing for dark energy is completely ignored and the catalysts logic is largely circular.

They can clarify thing like the normandy landing a bit, but still won't explain how the crew survives dropping out of FTL travel when the ME1 codex says it will kill them.

There are so many contradictions that the ending creates. Sure its biowares ending and not mine, but I wouldn't be complaining if it made sense with all that had come before it. Which it really really doesn't.

If bioware make an ending that people don't like, but that keeps with the themes and lore of the game then thats one thing and people complaining about changing it are whining. This isnt the case here, the ending is literally nonsense in the context of the trilogy. There are several threads with extensive lists of plot holes/lore inconsistencies, many of which cannoy be solved with a few extra cutscenes.

I agree, and it is quite simple to fix almost everything...cut the damn child out. Shepard activates the crucible and blows the Reapers away. Then she watches with Anderson how the battle fares outside (extended cutscenes depending on EMS) and have their famous parents-dialogue. Anderson dies. And Shepard too. Though if you have high EMS at the last minute (extended cutscene) the Normandy shows up and saves her.

More extended cutscenes show the results of the last battle, your surviving squadmates and Love Interest. Epic music. Credits and End. Replay value saved.

See? I fixed it without any kind of problem!

Clarification and closure are nice, but that's not enough. Blue babies? I never asked for this (I wanted Orange, it gave me lemon-lime). What I asked for is an ending without a deus ex machina, or at least without that f*cking kid.  You are pathetic, since you are happy with the bone they threw you. I am not. I hold the line and demand something better. Because I can. Because I am the customer and customer is always right. And I am much more of a true fan than you ever was, since I am fair with myself and with the company, while you are one of "fans" who are going to like every single pile of garbage they'll throw at you.

People are gonna complain even if they changed the ending completely the complainers would still find something they didnt like,its how the world is now and bioware already said they wont change it so its just a complete waste of time now anyway,most people have seen this and have accepted it but there is still always gonna be some who will complain whatever happens

Analogy is irrelevant, one has serious health implications that could lead to possible death, the other is just an ending to a video game.
