You have no idea what you are talking about. Honestly.

This is exactly what we DIDN'T want.

We wanted the Normandy Crash scene gone
We wanted Shepard to live and have blue babies
We wanted plotholes gone
We wanted the Mass Relays intact
We wanted closure
We wanted the Catalyst gone, likely replaced by Harbinger and some proper logic

Instead, we get only the closure and MAYBE plotholes gone. There are no blue babies - that would require a change to the ending Bioware is unwilling to make.
The Normandy will remain stranded - as if it weren't that would change the endings, see above
The Mass Relays are still gone - would change ending, see above
The Catalyst is still there - would change ending, see above

This is what we were dreading happening, not what we were asking for.
We got exactly what we DIDN'T want.
Don't assume you know us or what we want. You don't. Get it straight, then try again.

With this DLC we will possibly get...

more information considering why Joker left the battle with the use of cutscenes (as if saving all life on the ship is less important than saving shepard...)

The Normandy will crash but it has been stated that Shepard will be reunited with his crew, if he survived, which could lead to...

Blue Babies. Reuiniting with crew may lead to further closure with your LI

Plot holes definitely have a chance of being filled seeing as how the things the plot holes were created by were cutscenes that werent informative enough. (increased amounts of informative cutscenes will fix this)

the mass relays have a chance of being put back together as most likely seen in the epilogue

the only thing that probably wont be changed is the Catalyst.

we will definitely be getting closure and clarification.

Oh so basically: Galaxy saved! Reaper destroyed! Everyone lives! Lets hold hands in a circle and sing a happy song. Yea great. If the Protheans were destroyed by the Reapers, and they were far more advanced that the current cycle how could we come out all roses?

So you guys cry the loudest and I'm forced to get the high five everyone runs through the flowers happy touchy feely ending? Yea awesome.

Actually dude, most people here are clamoring for the power to choose. So that no one, not you, not I, not anyone, will be forced to end thier story in a way that they are unsatisfied. Is that really such a bad idea?

not really. sacrifices have to be made, that's understandable. but when you've sacrificed the galaxy, it's individuality, and for many hope to 'save' the galaxy there's a problem.

How about NOT killing the Geth and EDI in order to kill the Reapers, at least ?

"drive theme back to dark space" (from ME 1) <-- does that ring any bells ? It should...

You actually care about that?

I have a tip for you: If you hate the ME3 ending so much(I didn't like it either) and are still rageing when they have said that they will fix it, how about you just leave the forums and stop bother the vast majority that are true fans and are happy with the extended cut. I have heard that Diablo 3 will come out within a month, maybe that can make you forget ME3?

you do relize that it will take more than a few cutscenes to fix that cluster**** of bugs and plotholes right?

Uh...Did you not finish Mass Effect 3? I thought you were complaining about the method in which the Reapers were stopped but you actually think they weren't stoppped.

No. You are as deserving of a heroic sacrifice as someone else is of a "touchy feely" (as you so condescendingly put it) ending.
One of the things we've been advocating for is impactful choice.
You want blue babies? You can get blue babies. (Or close to it, ie. Shep lives and is reunited with LI)
You want to die? You should have the option for such a sacrifice aswell.

That was one of the crux of these endings - lack of choice. All you were given was "press any of these buttons and die, please. kthxbye".

You seem upset to have said hypotetical conclusion for Shepard forced onto you, so, I think you can understand why many feel upset for having Shepard's death and parting from their LI forced onto them, no?

Forcing the player to kill the Geth and EDI too is stupid (I guess I should have let the Quarians kill the Geth..).

And destroying the Mass Relays and the Citadel is even more so.

First note: Possibly. Until it is all confirmed, no peace.

As if saving the Galaxy is less important than saving the ship. He should have been fighting Reapers, not running like a coward, and still doesn't stop it being stranded.

The Normandy will crash but it has been stated that Shepard will be reunited with his crew, if he survived, which could lead to...

So... Space magic. I'm sorry, but if this is true it has a 90% chance of being an ass pull at this point.

Blue Babies. Reuiniting with crew may lead to further closure with your LI

Providing you pick destroy and sacrifice some of your crew and the entire Geth race. Better than previously, not by a ton.

Plot holes definitely have a chance of being filled seeing as how the things the plot holes were created by were cutscenes that werent informative enough. (increased amounts of informative cutscenes will fix this)

Agreed.

the mass relays have a chance of being put back together as most likely seen in the epilogue

In control. Otherwise they quite literally exploded. No-one has the technology to make a large scale Mass Relay yet, and they would need to move them throughout the Galaxy at conventional FTL - as they only work in pairs - before the network would be re-assembled. Several hundred years at least. Or, space magic.

the only thing that probably wont be changed is the Catalyst.

Sadly one of the biggest problems with the ending for a lot of people.

we will definitely be getting closure and clarification.

Agreed.

You say what is true. Most people don't understand the concept of 'Choice' in Mass Effect - including the devs.

You have choice throughout the entire series, and you want to choose exactly how it end? Ugh... How can you have a cohesive narrative in a Choose Your own adventure?

Look at ME2.
Or ME1
Or DA:O
Or 90% of D&D desktop games

Welcome to the world of RPGs. The adventure has a goal, but you choose how to accomplish that. The DM will generally cause certain events to happen, but how you deal with them is up to you.
If you want perfectly linear games - play things like CoD. What attracted people to Mass Effect was the choice it gave you, not the linearity of its story.

Thanks again for your cold hard facts. Care to link your source on that?

BioWare could have ignored you but instead they give you what you want but you ungrateful "fans" are still complaining.

I didn't want what they're giving me. The have made it pretty clear they're not going to change the ending. I am complaining because they're not giving me what I wanted.

I asked for potatoes. Instead you bring me apples. I am being ungrateful for pointing out you didn't give me what I wanted.

Nice fallacy there.

I don't take tips from you. Keep them for yourself.

I will take into consideration your highly informed opinion on what's a "true fan".
