SWTOR occupies 90% of my gaming time these days. Just having far too much fun duoing a Bioware style game with the wife.

Otherwise, I dabble a little in ME3 and X:3 Albion Prelude. I'm trying to find some time to get back to Saints Row the Third so I can see all the Season Pass content. Also have an ME2 Playthrough I want to finish so I can import into ME3.

TOR? I could not keep paying for it. I hope 1.2 adds a bunch of stuff but it just looks like more of the same. More dungeons, more pvp warzones, more raids and not much else. Have you tested out the legacy system?

At least crafting is getting some attention but I'm still not sure about resubbing.

Well we mostly play it for Duoing the Story content. Don't care at all about raids/warzones/etc. Having a 100% reliable duoing partner to play through all the storylines with really is the perfect way to play for me. You get all the advantages of multiplayer, while still being able to take Companions along too.

Once we finally get our fill of all the story content, I'm sure we'll end up unsubbing until they add more chapters. But still got a few months left before that happens. I'm guessing when 'The Secret World' releases we'll take a break from TOR.

Haven't tested out Legacy yet. Waiting til it all goes live. Definately some features of that I want to take advantage of, particularly the racial options. That, armor color matching, and the crafting improvements are the most interesting parts of 1.2 for me.

For me it's the storylines and playing with my two best friends. That's why I love SWTOR. Well, that and killing other players.

Yea I get that but I have to say some of the class stories are really bad. Have you tried the consular's? Then is the Sith Inqisitor which is just awesome but eventually the story does end which is the problem putting so much emphasis on the story. Image IPB

But there are 8 stories so always more to do. And even moreso when you consider Light/Dark and Gender variations. Quite a bit of content there.

However I'll agree with you on the Consular. Absolutely the worst of all the storylines. Like watching paint dry. We tried and failed to get through that one multiple times.

To me each class story has had their high points and their low points. The best part is, the story comes to a point she it's on hold. To me it doesn't end. Rather it's on hold so I move onto one of the other classes.

I realize SWTOR isn't everyone's cup of tea but for me, it hits all the right buttons. Playing with friends, killing stuff, laughing and talking, perfecting the PvP builds, dueling. All of that is more of a social aspect than a game play. And when you look at an MMO that's what it comes down too. Too many times people enter it looking at it as if it's a single player and it's not. Its built to play as a group.

The operations are crazy fun. Playing the war zones with a group is insanely hilarious but it comes down to who you game with, if you game with strangers then it's got fun and can be dull. But when you game with people who have the same interested or love the Star Wars universe as much as you do, then it doesn't get old.

I unsubbed from TOR. I was having fun, more or less, but eventually once the honeymoon period wore off, I realised there were too many other games I wanted to be able to dedicate some of my free time to, without worrying about my sub going to waste in the background.

I'm currently playing Kingdoms of Amalur, with ME3 and Skyrim sitting there waiting for me to go back to. I go through phases, playing something to death for a while, then I take a break, coming back to it later. Skyrim is one I can lose myself in regardless though (doubtless because of my playstyle - stealth archer ftmfw!).

I'm not really waiting for any game right now. Enjoying the ones I have too much. That and I should really be doing work instead >_>

Been duoing on SWTOR with the husband since it went live. Haven't finished a particular class storyline yet, because we keep hopping into other pairs to see how those story lines progress. Even with playing the same class-stories--at one point he played a male smuggler to my femtrooper and I played female smuggler to his male trooper--we are getting funny bits we hadn't seen before.

I've played a ton of mmos with the Husband, and usually we start off with a bunch of toons and end up playing only one pair with any regularity, then unsub after a month or so, since the story lines (if any) get repetitive. SWTOR is the only game that I don't see that happening for a couple of months, based on the story lines, dialogue changes, and DLCs, if they add them.

That being said, ME3 has been sitting next to my computer, waiting for that day to arrive.

What I did for Oblivion was I stayed at level 1 and finished the main quest. I didn't level up until after I finished the main quest. It was just easier. The leveling of the NPCs made leveling up stupid.

What I did for Oblivion was start the main quest and....ooh look! Shiny objects!

The game got substantially less fun when Oblivion gates were opening up every time I sneezed, and the OCD I never knew I had mixed terribly with my hero impulses to never leave one unclosed. Really kept me from getting anything done, so I usually just ignore the main quest so I can focus on the parts I enjoyed.

I have the same problem with Skyrim. "Let me go to town to...oh @#$% another dragon? Really?" Image IPB

^ OMG, those stupid Oblivion gates drove me crazy. I was relatively green to that type of gaming when I played Oblivion, and I used to make my husband play for me when I went into the Oblivion gates. Something about the creatures and the environment just turned me into a sniveling little baby.

Although the first time I played Metal Gear Solid, I crawled under a car in the very first scene, and refused to come out from under it, I was so terrified. Looking back, I just have to shake my head at myself.

My, what a long way I've come. I put over 1000 hours into Skyrim, and by the time I put it down, I was still finding new things I'd missed on previous playthroughs.

I seem to find games really boring atm. Currently "playing through":

Tomb Raider: Legend (revisiting tomb raider for the first time since the first game, and it's surprisingly good)
Borderlands (this time I've added all of the DLC)
Skyrim

Saints Row: The Third.
A lot of people seem to hate it but I think it is rather enjoyable and has some funny moments. Unfortunately, I am only borrowing it...

I'm mostly playing Divine Divinity currently, since I have that installed on my laptop. Fun action RPG that exists somewhere between Diablo II and Baldur's Gate on the RPG spectrum... although it doesn't have any multiplayer, in contrast to those two games.

Fairly interesting story. Good sense of humor. Purchased it mostly so I could play it before Divinity II: The Dragon Knight Saga, and so far it feels like a good purchase regardless.

I'll have to try to get back into Kingdoms of Amalur soon. I really enjoyed the game before I jumped on Mass Effect 3 instead... and then, of course, there's SWTOR and a game time card waiting for me to get the time to play (and BioWare to release 1.2).

Well TOR is the most single player friendly MMO I have ever played. Frankly Bioware devs have even stated in interviews a lot of times it's great for people who like to play alone (why play an MMO in the first place?) and don't really care for group content.

So you play a MMO for single players content? A game that is designed for social elements but you dont want to play in a group. Then you sir are a group of one. XD Good luck!

Not what I'm saying. I said TOR is the most single player friendly MMO and that hurts it imo.

I never finished TW2. Most likely will this summer.
I took a break from Skyrim and started playing Fallout 3 since my hub started the DLC to New Vegas and it got me wanting to play a post-apocalyptic game.
But as most recently, Dead Island since I bought my son and my husband a copy. We now get to team up and kill zombies.
Nothing like zombie killing to bring this family closer together!
We love everything zombie related. Songs, games, movies, books and even scoping out the area while in the car as to how fortified it is for rest points.
