As far as I can tell there will be no LIVE stream of the Mass Effect Panel @ PAX? W.T.H?

Been looking forward to this almost as much as the release of ME3 for god sakes.

Anyone got any good news on this matter? Someone broadcasting via bambooser or something?

This is an outrage, I don't want to read about it later, they can't shut all the fans out around the world.

Please tell me that you've got some good news. :crying:

idk about live stream but between twitter, iphones, youtube, and G4 I'm pretty confident there will be up to the minute news.

3 hours, 44 minutes of this posting - http://east.paxsite.com/

edit: But that's not to say the Mass Effect panel would begin right away either. No idea when that'll start, and even if does have a set time it might get delayed later depending on events. But agreed, I also want a "front row" seat to this event. This show is gonna be good. My reccomendation is G4, I used them for coverage last time.

No reason to sneak. It's a public event and both organizers and fans are allowed to have cameras. I quote:

"Can I take pictures or video?

Indeed! PAX is a public event. Cameras are everywhere.  Our attendees understand that they are in the public domain and are likely to be filmed, photographed or recorded. That said if an exhibitor asks you not to film or photograph a booth or an event please respect their wishes.  You can even share your pictures with the world through our gallery."

Only reason they'd have to put the camera away is if the Bioware panel asked them too. That might not necessarily be a bad thing, they just might not want people getting in the way of the press filming the event.

Not really I think the whole panel is gonna be them dodgeing questions and another pr disaster is the last thing they need.

That's exactly why it isn't being broadcast in an official manner, I bet.

How could you suggest such a thing - surely not /sarcasm

As an aside I'm actually interested to see what if anything of interest is said at both the DA & ME panels - in particular the later not only with regards to the ending, but lets face it the people there (the writers in particular) represent what I did like about ME3 (Tuchanka, Mordin etc).  And yes I also wanted to see the fan reactions to the ending, and the new DLC was hoping for a strong yet respectful presence.  Guess I'll just have to wait til someone puts the videos on YouTube.

First thing I saw when I entered this topic is "This is an outrage" and I read it in Udina's voice.

That said I will be checking back every now and then for updates. There may be some liveblogs at the very least.

Funny how they put Dragon Age first. They knew they would get screwed if the Mass Effect Panel didnt go well perhaps?

I'm fairly certain PAX is in Boston, and that's in Los Angeles.

There will be no live stream because the Mass Effect location was burned to the ground by a mob of angry fans
