No. Alliance network was also a prepaid content delivery system, just like Cerberus network. Say what you will about EA's shady business practices, they're jimmy on the spot when it comes to post-release pre-paid content via online passes -- they do the same with the Battlefield series. Damn sight more than you can expect from Activision, which is something more people on these forums probably ought to keep in mind.
