A bunch were preorder exclussives....

The Memory Band......all preorders from any half decent gaming retailer did the trick...most have this.
Feral Wolf Charm.....GameStop/EB Games preorder...I got this.
Guild Master's Belt.....Game Crazy/Mighty Apple preorder
Band of Fire....EA Store Preorder
Dalish Promise Ring....Direct2Drive/GAME preorder
The Lion's Paw....Amazon preoder.
The Wicked Oath....Steam preorder.

Mark of Vigilance.....no idea where this came from....it is something that PC gamers can unconventionally download(not given by EA/BioWare) and I wasn't able to find anything official about this item. It seems BioWare never intentionally gave it to anyone? I have no idea.

Now all the items above are available to PC gamers to download but is there any way to get them or unlock them on the consoles? I like to get everything I possibly can in a game and the fact that the only way to do that was by preordering and buying 6 different copies of the game seriously upsets me. I don't mind preoder bonuses as long as they are the way the Memory Band was.....available to all preorders....but to have store specific items nobody can ever get again is a serious ripoff aimed to cause gamers to buy multiple copies of the game.

What's to a few items? They're overpowered anyway. When you decided to get the game for console, you knew you'd relinquish all the advantages of the PC platform.

How is that a rip-off? If yo don't want multiple copies, don't buy multiple copies.

No one is making you buy anything.

And the nightmares.....as it stands the PC version is facing the most troubles as BioWare is offering little to no help if your PC doesn't run it......even if you more than meet all their requirements. It took hours for me to get the lousy character creator going to unlock the Lucky Stone even though my PC is over the recommended requirements for the game itself.....and on and on. No thanks I'll pass on that. The console versions play the game just fine with little to no issues.

But why should I or anyone have to miss out on content because of that? I seriously don't care about the toolset or gamer created content.......which isn't happening anyway because the thing is just about broken....but I do like to collect official bonus in-game items.

Yeah but that doesn't help the consoles. I have the game on the 360.

I have the game on PS3. It's helped me for a couple DLC's.

I now have items I would not have had..if not for this site.

But it gives readers some idea about where these DLC's come from...

Like the exclusive dagger if you bought your game before the 30th of Nov.

So on and so forth :)

Well they're small downloads I guess so it can't hurt to try but yeah I've been collecting all the stuff I could....DAJ items, The Edge, CE, DLCs, Lucky Stone and GameStop preorder ones.

Because the people who own it aren't selling it to you.

You're not entitled to everything in the world.  You are entitled to anything I deign to sell you.  If I don't want to sell you my house, you can't make me.

Holy property rights, Batman!

They are certainly trying to sell it to me.....I am something of a collector though only within the bounds of the reasonable(which is why I didn't buy 6 copies). I purchased the game and the DLC and they were certianly trying to grab my attention with all the exclussive bonus content....which to an extent they did.....but it's certainly a dirty business practice inteded to inflate sales. I wonder if more of the blame should fall on EA or BioWare........

At any rate that content should be made available to all the gamers.

Well, it's not.  So, you can either get over it, or you can stop doing business with them, and miss out on all the content they release in the future.

I've encountered a grand total of 2 freezes in over 100 hours of gameplay and if the sound goes out that is also an extremely rare occurence that is easily fixed by taking out and plugging back in the HDMI cable. Overall the 360 has nearly no problems worth complaining about.....except two achievements not unlocking but the game runs perfectly fine. The audio loss is a rare random occurance that can happen with any game.....I get it about once every 2 to 3 weeks and I fix it in 15 seconds.
