This is wrong. They made a bad ending, and even if we don't like the way they are doing it they are still trying to fix it.

Bioware has made so many games that I've loved, that honestly them going out of business would be really sad to me.

There are very few companies doing what they do.

If they created a new company I'd be fine with that, but there are a lot of ifs there.

See thats the thing though Bob.... Drew didn't exactly write ME ALL ON HIS OWN. and for the most part ME3 was an awesome game with a great story.

Seriously? The story became dumb the moment they asspulled the crucible. Then the outdying krogans somehow would magicly help the turians no matter that their numbers are far too low to matter at all. And no,unlike grunt and all other tankbreds, they are not born as adult soldiers. So even the genophage cure wouldnt matter. The whole cerberus subplot doesnt make sense most of the time. The storywriting, not only the endings, are completely horrible.

To be nihilistic here if Bioware goes under I can care less now. It's of their own making. (along with EA) If they can stay afloat which is likely (unless EA fully absorbs and breaks them up) I can care less in that case. They aren't gonna get a dime from me.

As for your theory on the "New" Bioware reverting to the old standard... Not likely to happen. All the practices that the big Gaming companies have really become the standard. Games are getting more homogenous, easier and quicker to play. Multiplayer/online gaming is slowly becoming mandatory.

I may be painting a bleak picture to some here but for the most part I'm done with video games. Time to focus on other hobbies...

How about Vampire: The Masquerade games?

As far as I know, White Wolf is still publishing splatbooks for World of Darkness.

I have one thing to say in response to this idea: LOLOLOLOLOL. All this over endings that people don't like. *rolleyes*

You want Bioware to go out of business because of an ending you don't like? get over it already and move it just keeps getting sadder and sadder the more some of these people cling to it and make it their whole point of existence.

Bioware won't go out of business anytime soon, thats a laughable idea. Just because some people on this forum are saying LOL SCR4W YOU BW IM OUT, doesn't mean they don't have PLENTY of over costumers and fans.

Just the fact you want them to go out of business is stupid, yea the could get a job somewhere else, or (most likely the case) not.

As EA's RPG factory I think Bioware will continue to exist, even if in name only.
Hope for the best, expect the worst. If the worst should happen there are other developers and studios out there.

And the best thing about it?, is that BioWare will be independant from EA, which means that the "New BioWare" can put the time and effort that they done before being bought by EA.

Yes! They'll be a start-up development company without a publisher. I'm sure this will lead to the AAA games BioWare fans know and love.

They did before. Did you know they made AAA games before being brought by EA?

So you're saying we're their salvation through destruction?

Depends on your point of view

... My point of view is beyond your comprehension.

Bioware are in business because we allow it, and they will fall because we demand it... It is inevitable. :D

I am the Catalyst. Game companies are destined to join. EA and Activision merging is the pinnacle of company DNA.

Why is that kind of thread even going on? It's not more constructive than the funny troll thread about artistic integrity there was yesterday where people from every point of view took part of it and had fun together. That one was lock and delete from BioWare forum* while this piece of junk still goes on.

*at least we still have the poll http://social.biowar...95/polls/31489/

And did you know Bioware ceased to be an indepent company long before EA acquired them?  All those AAA titles came during a time when Bioware was already a subsidiary company of Elevation and guess who was one of the leaders of Elevation? Yes, indeed, the current CEO of EA.

But hey, why would you let stupid stuff like facts get in your way, huh?

I just wish they weren't in such a hurry to dilute the brand.

You're not fooling anybody. You don't just get to call something "BioWare" and have it be BioWare.
