- Allow us to choose our characters race (Kossith, Elf, Dwarf, Human)
[/quote]
Yes, please. However, I'm not sure about playing a Kossith, or anyone from the Qun. The whole point of Dragon Age is (or should be) freedom of choice, and the Qun presents a very narrow path. Maybe a Tal-Vashoth, but it would have to be done properly.

I actually liked the new Elf design. Made them stand out more. In Origins, they were basically short humans with pointy ears. If you're going to include multiple races, at least have them be diverse. I'm not the greatest fan of absolutely having dwarves and elves in a fantasy setting, but if you include them, at least make them look like they're part of a different species.

- Make the game dark again. For example, gory brood mothers and Hespith's song in the Deep Roads.
[/quote]
So much yes! I'm not asking for this to be a pure horror game, but you can't call yourself Dark Fantasy without including at least a decent amount of ****ed-upery. Hespith's song is still my favourite piece of literature from Origins.

- More armor and weapon designs. Be creative! Especially more weapons for mages! Only a staff? Really?
[/quote]
I'd love for, say, the staff to become a melee weapon for non-mage characters. Quarterstaff fighting is woefully underused in games it makes me sad.
And I'd also be in favour of not having weapons be restricted to certain classes. If I want my rogue to equip a gigantic waraxe, I want to bloody be able to do so. I don't care if it's 'sub-optimal'. Get rid of class and stat restrictions on weapons (except maybe levels), and instead have their effectiveness based on the skills and abilities you pick.

- Be consistent with Dragon Age lore.
[/quote]
I'd be inclined to say that 'the lore is whatever the writers say it is', but I vehemently oppose going against established canon. So, yes, please.

- More companions with crazy background stories
[/quote]
And have them reveal it over time, as you talk to them between quests, like in Origins.
Also, give more options to influence your companions' attitudes and behaviors. Hardening Alistair (hurrdyhurr) and Leliana in Origins was a great start, but I'd like to see more of that. Also have it have a bigger impact on what they do or don't do later on.
[quote]
- At least one Kossith companion. Preferably a girl since there were none in DA2
[/quote]
Also, make her a gay (or bi) love interest. I'm actually being serious here.
And to give an example of the influence aspect I mentioned earlier: if she's Qunari, give us the ability to, through the right dialogue decisions and choices you make in her presence, make her question the Qun and possibly turn Tal-Vashoth. Likewise, give her the opportunity to convert the player character to the Qun.
Obviously, the two would be mutually exclusive, but that's the whole point of choice.

- More hairstyles and colors! If I want a warrior, I want a sick warrior hawk!
[/quote]
I am pro more customizability options.
[quote]
- More eye colors! If I want a rogue chick, I want her to have sick purple eyes!
[/quote]
See above

[/quote]
Alternatively, create a set of combat mechanics that are less tedious and make people demand less fighting in your game.
[quote]
- Persuasion needs to be brought back.
[/quote]
But make it less obvious. Whenever I saw the 'persuade' or 'intimidate' tag standing next to a dialogue choice, I knew it was the obviously superior choice to make, provided I could pass the checks.
Also, have more consequences for failed persuade and intimidate checks.
[quote]
- The ability to choose at least one of your companions' specializations.
[/quote]
Less excited about this idea. Companions are their own characters, and for the largest part they made their own decisions before you met them. Giving Wynne the Blood Mage specialization made absolutely no sense, for example.
In fact, I rather liked the idea of each companion having a unique specialization tailored for them and suiting their background.

- Dwarf girls were hardly present in DA2.
[/quote]
There were Dwarf girls in DA2? o.O
[quote]
- TELL US ABOUT THE OLD GOD BABY! Thats my son! :'(
[/quote]
I think Bioware shot themselves in the foot with that one, by making it optional. If they make it canon, those who didn't do it will be pissed. If they don't do it, those who did do it will be pissed. If they include it, but only if you did it, it's going to be something minor, or easily replaceable with something else, and everyone's going to be pissed.
Then again, they could comment on the weather these days and people would be pissed.
[quote]
- A central place where I can meet with companions, it sucked having to go to their seperate places.
[/quote]
I'd like to see another travel story. Traveling all over Ferelden was way more interesting than being stuck in the same city for the entire game. A camp makes the most sense in that setting.
Maybe have different camp sites, depending on where you were when you went to camp. For example, if you were at Orzammar when you returned to camp, have the camp be somewhere snowy and mountainy.
[quote]
- Realistic camp actions, like people sleeping after a long day of fighting and you have to wake them up if you have to talk to them and they'll be like "I was sleeping!"
[/quote]
I like this idea. Also have Companions talk to each other at camp, develop friendships and rivalries among themselves. I've been crying out for potential romances amongst companions since I first played DA:O, and was incredibly happy when I saw it done in ME3. More of that kind of stuff, please.
[quote]
[/quote]
I think this conflicts with being able to choose among several races. Humans don't sound like Dwarves or Elves (especially if they keep those Welsh accents (PLEASE KEEP THE WELSH ACCENTS!)) or Kossith. Recording every line twice (man + woman) is costly and time-consuming enough. If you give the player the choice of three, or even four races, they'd have to record everything six or eight times.
It'd be neat if they did, but I wouldn't blame them if they didn't.
[quote]
- Being able to party and get drunk with friends.
[/quote]
Meh
[quote]
- Less cuddly looking Darkspawn. I want to be legit scared of them like the battle at Ostagar
[/quote]
I think this fits the Dark Fantasy one above. But basically, yeah. If you have terrifying monsters, please have them look terrifying.
[quote]
- Companion relationships. For example, if I'm with Morrigan, Zevran could be with Wynne.
[/quote]
Mentioned this one before. But yes. I would't ship Zevran and Wynne, personally, but the general idea is great.
[quote]
- Being able to customize how built you are and if you're skinny or fat, tall or short.
[/quote]
GODS YES!
[quote]
- I want a bro bestfriend that I have a secret handshake with and talk about chicks with!
[/quote]
Isn't this what happened in Origins with just about anyone if you got their friendship up high enough? I mean, from that point on you decide who you like best.
Me, when I wasn't romancing her, I was totally bffs with Leliana.
[quote]
- More variety in Elf eye colors, almost all had green eyes.
[/quote]
I'm trying of a colour I'd give to elven eyes other than green, but I'm stumped.
But yeah, basically.

[quote]
[/quote]
Like Carver and Bethany?

But yeah, if they both survive, sure.
[quote]
[/quote]
Sounds like a plan.
EDIT: And I actually nailed all the quote tags! YES!
