I'm assuming that was an attempt to be clever.
Then you would be assuming incorrectly.

Oh. Well, don't I feel like an ass. Apologies about that.

Again, I claify my reasons for removing my support of Bioware here, in hope they will learn the lesson and change their policies.
There is nothing to 'get over'. This debacle is a stern disagreement and separation between consumer and company. BioWare has taken their stance, and will have to deal with the consequences of this. This means upset customers, refunds, and a strike on their reputation that will follow them as the months and years come.
You may not like this, but this is the facts and how they stand. I work in customer service every day, and I know how it feels taking the direct heat from bad company decisions. But that does not mean the customer's opinion is suddenly wrong because I don't like how they behave.
Sorry Admiral, but you're just creating that separation by taking a video game way too seriously.
You know one day that the sun will die right? Everything that is happening right now is overshadowed by the fact that everything we do is fruitless. Why should I care about anything when we are already dead?
I hope you read the sarcasim in my post. Of course human suffering is more important than consumer vs. producer problems such as the ending debacle. That is not the point though. Why can't I care about Haiti while voicing my displeasure with BW? I have donated money to the Red Cross many times as well as other charties. Am i not allowed to be displeased with other things that hold less importance?
Stop yourself.

They lied to us. Gave us a horrible ending. Choices didnt matter... Its a game. Life goes on... I stayed around for some time to see if they had the courage to admit their mistakes and fix it, but they dont. So i turned in my copy and no big deal. We already discussed in my group of friends that it will be very difficult for us to buy any more games for Bioware. Thats what they got from us.
If people like gaming companies lying to them and they keep buying their products... then fine. More power to them, but "shame on me if you fool me twice".

To the OP, and anyone else who loved the game. How were you able to enjoy it with the likes of Haiti going on? When exactly did the concern get the better of you and force you to realize that the $60 you spent on ME could have fed people, which in turn caused you to immediately return the game to the store and send the $60 where it could do the most good?
You didn't do that? Is it because ME and your satisfaction or lack thereof really has no bearing on what's going on in Haiti?
Would Haiti clear up if we loved ME3? Could we lie and then Haiti would still get better cause it couldn't tell the difference?
People all over the world including right in North America, are going through a lot. But these appeals to guilt are pathetic. If I trip, fall and put my eye out tomorrow morning am I not supposed to cry because somewhere in the world somebody is getting run over by a steam shovel at the exact same time and that's much worse? Come on. Point taken = false.
