I know I brought this up to OneTrueShot, but one thing I noticed playing Borderlands 2 is that I have a reasonable chance of going up to an enemy, kicking them in the balls, and have a break-even chance of getting a better weapon than I can in spending several hours playing ME3, and that's just silly.

Or better yet you can spend hours and hours farming enemies trying to get a good orange, like a Maggie or a Conference Call and be left with nothing at the end of that session with no noticeable progress.

Speak for yourself, man. I got a Legendary Soldier mod the first damned time I went through TVHM and killed the Warrior. Fighting through various enemies later on, I got me a bunch of Legendaries, including a Transformer and a Blood of Terramorphus Relic. I also have a Conference Call, though it's a Level 30 and as such completely irrelevant to where me and my friends tend to roll. That's not the point of what I was getting at.
Comparing BL2 to ME3 is like comparing apples with potatoes; both play extraordinarily differently, and have a lot of differences that make both distinct. What does prompt my asking questions, however, is that there's so many areas where BL2 manages to trump it on basic mechanics. Trading alone fixes so many problems that the drop system in BL2 otherwise inspires. Yeah, you might not be able to get your hands on a Conference Call through farming alone, but I bet you dollars-to-donuts that can find some halfway-decent gear that someone, somewhere, is going to want, and you can use that. I'd relate a tale of my own on that recently, but it's both irrelevant and distracting. Can you imagine how much less-****ing there would be if players could trade in this game? Maybe find someone who'd want a Paladin X for some other ultra-rare entirely? It'd be considerably less. But oh, then people wouldn't be spending so much on magic space points at the Bioware Crate Casino, and we can't fawking have that, can we.
Honestly, I'd have much less room to complain about things like ME3's drop rates, and lack of the ability of the devs to give more than half a damn about the metagame, et al, if I had some level of inclination to believe that fixing the problems ME3 has was anywhere remotely near the priority list, let alone on it. Geth Stunlock was complained about for over six months. There is no way that the devs were not, accutely, aware of it, and yet we have the metagame we do now, where the stunlock, chillingly, is now even worse. The lack of dev response to it hints - chillingly - that the broken state of the Geth is exactly what they want, since it means more fatalities, more frustration, and ergo more points spent on magic space points.
Oh, but they have the ability to disrupt every single combat class that can potential bait enemies into attacking not-players, functionally kill the Havoc whilst giving the Ghost a slap on the wrist, and do nothing to address myriad issues complained-about for months on-end, but... Hey, it's only the goddamned centerpiece of the game. Why fix things like enemies spawning on top of players, 2 of the factions being borderline-unplayable, and complete inability of veteran players to get anything worth a toss, when we can incrementally change things and accomplish bugger all in the game's metagame in the long run? We're clearly not buying enough magic space points, so clearly we deserve this.

Ok, so I'm not going to argue that ME3 is a better game than Borderlands 2, because it probably isn't. However that doesn't make Borderlands 2 a good game, it only makes it slightly less aggravating to play.
Though you know what is fun in Borderlands 2? Trying to get Vermivorous to spawn. Isn't that fun? Waiting for long periods of time, not doing anything, hoping that those stupid Varkid would transform into the highest level. This is terrible game design. It's essentially a single-player game, so why have the spawn rate that low? It's not an MMO, they don't need to keep people grinding for years at a time to get tier whatever gear.
I will agree with your part about the trading though, it would make ME3 a hell of a lot less frustrating with the store. But you can blame EA for that. You can't say that every player has been complaining about the geth, because a lot of players like the way they are and wouldn't be happy with a change to their mechanics (myself not included), and while I don't know how many people there are in this group, I'm not going to say that they're in the minority, because on BSN we get a weird and biased sample size.
And going back to the basic mechanics of Borderlands 2, they're bad. Seriously. Why, in a single player game would you have raid bosses that you can only fight once a day? I don't understand this mentality at all. Why would you also nerf something (the Bee Shield) that helps people who play alone? Also somehow they made the inventory worse going from BL1 to BL2, and they still didn't fix all the issues with picking up loot, which is still stupid and annoying. And don't tell me that Borderlands 2 has less glitches than ME3, because that is a flat out lie. If I try to play coop at all, first of all the framerate dies on console, and there's this dumb glitch that makes it so even if you have maxed ammo, you'll still pick up ammo for that type.

The funny part of the story is that while she was downloading it, I was playing Destiny with him and she told him he should download it to. He kind of laughed blowing her off. A week later I seen them both playing it and msg'ed him to make fun of him. She cracked that wip!To be fair, Viva Pinata is a really good game.

BioWare I beg you, please don't give into this Kenshin Himura's demands. ME3MP, RNG store, etc. are perfect the way they are. Your artistic integrity is more important than one, two or even several thousand people's wants/needs/opinions. It's YOUR game and we'll support you no matter what color frosting you enjoy having on your cupcakes - be it green, blue, red or hell, even purple.
STAND YOUR GROUND HOLD THE LINE!!!
