So I understand a lot of people are very upset at Bioware right now for the ending of Mass Effect and also for the perception that they have that they haven't been listened to or that they have been spoken down to.  I do get that although I don't agree with it.

And many people are now talking about voting with their wallets and all, which in honesty is in my opinion the only way to actually hold any sort of line and make any difference.

But what if Bioware came out with the next big thing.  Something which is better than Mass Effect 1.  Something better than Dragonage.  What if they came out with the new "skyrim", the game that everyone knows someone who is playing.

Will you really honestly sit it out because of principles?  It doesn't look like it if I'm honest.  You can all tick a poll that you will never buy a Bioware product ever again, but yet you still sit on their forums every day.  And now it's like all people do is complain and you have to consider, why not just go and do something fun for you?  Bioware have said what they intend to do, it isn't going to change, so if you don't like it what on earth is the point?

The only way you are going to hold any line is if you start to do what you threaten and just leave.  If they still get your money it really doesn't matter how many cupcakes you send them.   I think you guys enjoy Bioware games too much to actually go because if I didn't like a company I wouldn't waste months on trolling their forums like you guys are now.

Just get over it please, for the sake of everyone else here.  Shepard deserves better fans.

Because they have hope? Because they want to continue to get that message out to ensure it doesn't happen again, and because they are still dissatisfied customers.

You sure do make a whole lot of threads telling people to "get over it".

Because it is quite clearly over.  Most of your 60k or whatever are satisfied now, Bioware have stated whats going to happen.  There is nothing left to "win".

It just seems pointless to go on ruining the forums for the real fans.

we don't make enough, the majority of these "Fold the ******* line" people are all talk and no action. they said if they don't get what they want they will leave these forums. well they didn't, but they are still on these forums, which shows Bioware they are full of nothing but empty threats, which causes them to ignore the entire movement

If Bioware came out with a "Skyrim" in terms of popularity i'd probably miss out, yeah. The wider the demographic, the blander and further from it's roots the Bioware game usually would turn out. I'm not interested in playing Bioware's version of the Modern Warfare series, frankly.

It's pretty simple really. If the game wasn't so damned GOOD compared to the last bit of it, everyone would've gone already.

I never said I'd leave the forum.

I just said I would be very unlikely to buy further bioware DLC/Games/Merchendise, unless at a significant discount and has good user reviews.

I do not care so much about who leaves the band wagon Bioware makes awesome games better then 90% of the other developers out there. I fell in love and married them when I was young and and just because we have a few fights or don get along I am un willing to throw away our lives together of a misunderstanding and there will be more fights but that's how marriages works give, take and compromising witch each other.

Which begs the question, why stay around a forum based on games you don't play and a company you do not support?

This is pretty much evidence that the Retake people are very little other than trolls and troublemakers that try to gatecrash all the other threads.

If you don't like the company or the games, you should just walk away so the real fans can enjoy.

Because I'm still enjoying the MP very much and hoping that the extended edit will make things at least a bit better.

I figure it can't really make the ending(s) worse.

I checked the thread title, clicked it, then saw the author and decidedly evaded the content of the original post.

Justin, you've got a notorious reputation of being a troll, posting inflamatory comments in other peoples thread and overall mockery of anyone that disagrees with you.

Am I to take this question on the title at face value and honestly answer it? I'm going to need individual clarification here because I'm willing to talk with you on the level and explain my reasons, but only if I have actual assurance that such reasons will be respected and you will consider them before you decide to insult another forum member.

Im here for the entertainment and to watch Bioware do their "Riverdance" in public relations minefield. Im here to chat with people I got to know. And Im going to be here to dissect any and all Bioware press releases for ****e and giggles.

Plus Im gathering quotes and links for when people start arriving here for DA3. Thats going to be so much fun. Its much, much better than anything on the tube.

Of course.  This is an adult discussion.  I just honestly cannot see the point in people staying, other than to further cause problems with the people that support the company and their games and decisions.  It's been stated clearly what Bioware will do now with the ending, it is not going to change, most of the Retake people are now happy and we're left with a vocal minority which look even more ungrateful than they did before.  Retake has been defeated, so why are people still here causing trouble?

Because to them the fight is just beginning. While they have made BioWare to compromise their post launch rollout for the sake of getting this as quickly as they can to their fans. While it has been stated no post ending DLC is not planned. Where does it say it is entirely off the table? That is there take. Plus I'm sure they just want the famous words that BioWare has yet to use instead of "artistic integrity" and it is "we apologize".

So essentially you are staying around just to cause trouble for the real fans and to troll?  Great lol.  Perfect example of the retake movement.
