Yep. They are what I call "closet happy". They believe that it's uncool to like things (because the internet usually hates things). So, they hate in public, but game all night in the secrecy of their homes. LOL.

Not at all.  By real fans I mean people who enjoy the companies products, who enjoy talking about it, who have fun.  If I wasn't having fun with Bioware games I just wouldn't buy them.  I'd certainly not be as negative and destructive as people like yourself.  It just isn't worth your time at the end of the day.  I'm sure there are plenty of games on the market you would find enjoyment in.  I found FFXIII had a good ending (although the game sucked).  You could try that if the last ten minutes of a game is more important than the 30 hours that precedes it.

I like explosions, or in this case implosions. All their wounds are self inflicted yet management lacks the ability to turn the mirror on themselves and get a clue. DA2 should have been a wake up call but apparently someone forgot to turn on the coffee. 'Artistic Integrity' from a mass merchandise consumer products company? You have got to be kidding, it's a freaking video game not the Mona Lisa.

Agreed.  Maybe they should also "hold the forum posts" as part of their protest.   They should boycott the forums.   This way, us "bootlickers" can enjoy a more positive forum community.

Most of those who have an issue with the ending, that you seem to exclude from being "real fans", are all of these things except for the last, and that's because the ending is the part that makes them not have fun. They want to have fun, but the ending is so entirely inapporpriate that it destroys much of what makes the game fun for them when replaying it again or thinking/talking about it. They are as upset as they are *because* they liked ME so much and felt that this issue very negatively affected ME.

DA2 was garbage... but it was a different team in the same company... not everything inside Bioware is made by the same people, im happy for the ME team... great job so far

Boom!  This is funny as H***.  This is what it all boils down to.  When a gamer is all upset about 5 min. of an ending to a game, but neglects to remember how he / she enjoyed the rest of the game...it's pretty funny.

Yeah, FFXIII was 60 boring hours of wandering corridors, before a little open world segment followed by the most beautiful tearjerking 5 minute ending with Leona Lewis singing and your MC's saving the world etc etc... 

ME3 was 45 hours of action packed, fast paced exciting battles, flying around the universe, followed by ten minutes of sci fi crap.

And yet people remember FFXIII as being good and ME3 as being bad.  It's hilarious.
