Guys, please don't bother multiplayer threads about the endings. That's immature and counter-productive.

To Bryan or Chris- Do we get the characters and weapons off the bat? Do we have to buy packs and hope for the luck? Also, if we do get them all in one go, they will be at their basic ranks (I, not X) and appearance options (have to buy packs to get more custom options)right?

Probably the same civil war from earlier, some Geth called Heretics worship the Reapers (these were the bad guys in ME1), most Geth do not share this belief.

I'm not Bryan, but I couldn't say which of the new characters I like the most, they fill pretty different and enjoyable roles.  I've had plenty of time to spend with all of them.  Is it wrong that I've been every bit as excited as you guys to get these characters in my game at home?

Harpoon Gun does looks interesting.....It has to be a sniper rifle, so that'll be fun. Plus, Krogan Vanguard. I think I might have my new favorite class.

Presumably, the Geth you fight in the game are the Reaper controlled ones while the PC Geth is independent... somehow.

Really, the MP 'story' makes no damn sense.

TBH it doesnt need to. It just needs to be fun. Thats how I feel anyway.

Batarian's are the ****heads of the ME universe and might bring out that side of players, kind of like how sports teams that wear black get more penalties.  That said, that swinging assault rifle melee looked awesome!

As I said Multiplayer is the strongest front, assuming this is free I will be VERY pleased and grateful.

Although losing my upgrade packs has been pissing me off lately.

We are a bunch of very excited people indeed, as the for the original question. I have not played all the new classes.

The game is peer to peer hosting clown, there are no dedicated servers, aside from the one you authenticate through Origin and communicate with, and well as from your sig and mine, thats part of the problem.

Don't worry, it's free and been in the works for quite some time.

Edit: I don't know how all of that works in great detail.  I know it's peer to peer...I just assumed that there is a server managing the traffic. I script and that's it.  I know people are angry about the ending stuff, but that kind of attitude is fairly disgusting and isn't needed.

Have to say I'm pretty amused that the 4chan leak turned out to be (mostly) true. That said, I'm pretty damn excited for this!
