That doesn't really answer the question of whether or not we get them out of the gate at level one, or need to unlock them in packs.
It's not definitive, but they probably can't really give you definitive right now. Otherwise they probably would've stated it clearly one way or the other.

krogan vanguard will not have the same hp/shields as the soldier or sentinel for sure and since he probably wont have nova either then his charge will not be as spammable (also all other vanguards can roll/flip/dash out of danger, krogan just stands there), if his other two abilities are not useful against big enemies or give him some way of getting out of trouble then he will be very low tier, perharps better than the Drellguard but worse than the Asari vanguard (stasis).
I guess the basic strategy will be RAGE-CHARGE-MELEE-CHARGE?? wont work in gold

Drellguards are quite a lot better than they're made out to be, it just happens to be the case very few people play them well or play to their strengths.armandojaimecisneros wrote...

That will actually work VERY well on Gold.

I would say he is more for single strong targets. Charge, shotgun, melee, repeat! He will prob get a grenade also.
