From glimpsing the trailer one can make out a few power uses/observations from the new classes.
Geth Infiltrator: Basically only shows the one power, which looks similar to adreneline rush/marksman, but makes enemies stand out as bright red, visable through cover. This seems like an awesome thing to have with a javelin/widow, but I feel it replaces cloak, as the "long duration/cooldown" power of the infiltrators. Geth do not infintrate.
Geth Engineer: The first second we see this class it uses overload on a cerberus trooper, followed by a dome shield that disintegrates another. He then uses a turret that kills a guardian. easy enough.
Batarian Soldier: Very little is shown, but it seems the batarians share a power, similar to a shotgun/spike thrower on the right omnitool. The soldier kills a cannibal with this at close range, while the...
Batarian Sentinel:...Uses the power to inflict a stasis-like effect on a cannibal, shooting it in the face soon after. Later in the trailer the sentinel is shown to use Shockwave.
Asari Justicar Adept: First seen using a thrown biotic (possible throw due to the sound of the power?) followed by a wide dome power similar to Mass Effect 2's use, to avoid the seeker swarm in the collector ship.
Krogan Vanguard: All I'm seeing is charge and heavy melee. Not really much else needed though.
Anyone else spot something I missed?
The Asari Justicar's biotic is Pull, as seen during the SMG feature at the end. The Batarian Sentinel's statis like effect is called a net in the blog, looks like a tech/energy net of some sort. Also, during the Geth Engineer sequence, it looked like he was holding an Avenger, and shot a proxy mine or behind the guardian at 0:36. Doesn't make sense because that would make four powers. The only skill I didn't see him acually use was the turret, but all of the other engineers have them.

Can you tell us how much the Reinforcement Packs will cost? In terms of both credits and BioWare/MS points.

Multiplayer is the only thing "mass effect" that I can get into at this point, so I am actually really excited for this. This gives me at least some hope for the directors cut dlc because they could have charged for it and not added nearly as much, but instead they added a bunch of stuff (it's almost a multiplayer expansion honestly) and are giving it away for free. Now this could be attributed to the fact that they are going to make a ton of money off of the new packs you can buy with MS points (and it probably is) but I'm trying to be optimistic.

Sweet, and just as I was beginning to slow down on playing MP.
And if you think I will not be playing as everybody's favorite synthetic race. Well ...
GETH AGAIN!

So will the new characters be playable directly after updates, or do we have to unlock them from the packs as usual? Unlocking them seems to be more BW-ish lol.

And yet, I'm still not even slightly interested. Too obvious and too much of a silence-maker to even make me consider turning my Xbox on.
Good for you.
Somehow, I think that your distaste is drowned out, rightly so, by people who're actually looking forward to something fun.

I think the proximity mine -was- the turret. at 0:35 the geth shoots the turret like a proximity mine, and at 0:36 it shows the reverse angle, with the turret lighting the guardians ass on fire.HEEGZ wrote...

Really? So many complained and now they are at least trying to make up for their bad misdealings and some still are not happy? Well... you continue to put up the good fight and stick with it while most are happy that Bioware/EA is at leat trying to play nice.GroverA125 wrote...

The new maps are free right off. The weapons and classes come from new Reinforcement Packs, though they haven't said how much those are going to cost yet.

I think that by reinforcement packs, they jsut mean the same set of packs we've been buying all along(recruit, veteran, spectre)
Or at least that's how I understood it.

Surprised however of the fact it is free; but I'm guessing they will be unlocked via packs so people will be spending IRL money on those packs hoping to get those classes and I really hope they are not going to be harder to obtain than the classes availible right now, so I'm gonna save up some extra credits to spend on whatever packs unlock these classes.
Dissapointment: Bit annoyed they didnt include extra classes for the races like they have for Asari and Krogan and that they change the character selection system so the races appear first then you pick the classes those races can be.
General Question: When exactly will this DLC be availible, I live in the UK and hope i dont have to wait until wednesday to get this DLC

Ah, that makes total sense, thanks! Also, I can't help but wonder what the two bubble skills are. They look great.imadipp wrote...
