Since they have to be unlocked in packs, does anyone know the type of rarity that the characters and weapons will be? Since I rather not have to buy Premium Spectre Packs to hope that I get a Geth Infiltrator when I am already hoping to get Salarian Infiltrators and Scorpion guns, as well as others... So does anyone know the rarities?

What exactly is included in the Resurgence Pack?
Firebase Hydra and Firebase Condor are available to play on as soon as the Resurgence Pack is downloaded. The new weapons, characters, and equipment are available as rewards inside Reinforcement Packs.

The guns are interesting, the Striker probably has lower damage than the Falcon and I have a feeling is an automatic. The GP SMG im not to sure but it looks like it has good accuracy, hope is not GPR 2. The Harpoon Gun will probably have the same travel speed as the Graal which will be difficult to shoot as a sniper but one can learn how to use it.

You can use bioware points or credits to obatin the "reinforcement pack" however there is no guarantee you will unlock all DLC items but there is a very high chance. The items and classes are gold rares so it will cost 60k-99k+ credits. This will probably the the only pack that provides the DLC guns and classes.

Well, shi-- crap... this heavily sucks, looks like BW/EA will still get some money for the MP stuff then lol It is kinda cheap to have them all be gold/rare... should have had them be a mix of Silver and Gold, lets hope the weapons aren't gold either... or ultra N7 black rare... that would bite...

lol I went out and bought some extra Microsoft Points today as I expected some new DLC to be announced. Probably should have waited until I read this before going out for them but I'm not gonna complain.

I mean come on, who the hell doesn't want to play as a geth?!

What I am hoping is that all extra maps are free so it does not seperate the community like other games. This is fast way to kill the game for the masses. I would not mind so much if chars/guns DLCs would cost money unless they are a 'must' have to play effectively, though. But keep the maps free like this one, please.

p.s. could EA possibly release a point card for PCs that I could buy at a local store? So far you can only get them for X-box, which I found out after I bought one. Yes, I failed to read. Store clerk told me it would work for PC, he was wrong.

This is some really fun looking DLC. I might even use a Batarian, they seem to have some interesting unique powers. I'd rather just get their Harpoon gun, though >

 Ugh....helmet on the Krogan looks so stupid. How the hell does he see out of it? Couldn't he have the same awesome model as the Soldier/Sentinel? I agitated enough by this to almost not want to use him.

The maps are free to all platforms if you have an online pass then the DLC will show up on your origin account and available freely on PSN/XBL. If you don't have access to a credit card then get a visa debit card or those visa preloaded cards (you can get one if your under 18 aswell, you just need cash)

Over 40, adamantly refuse to use credit cards. They are the devil, but that's just me.

As to pre-loadeds, I have tried those in online games and not one has worked once. Most require a name, address, etc which those pre-loadeds do not have thus they inevitably bounce back and or don't work.

My preloaded CC works fine. Also 40, also do not believe in CC. Though I have a quasi permanent pre-loadable CC, not just a "20-50-100" type of preload. (Available in Canada from Moneymart, not sure about the US)
