I'm really hoping that potential train wreck falls through like the Halo movie did. I can't fathom the thought of EA co-producing a movie after what they've done to literally every Bioware franchise. They're going to sit at a conference table, determine which markets to pitch the movie to, give it a PG rating and the end result will likely be a forgettable and generic CGI-fest with bad actors.

As long as they go with the story that ME1 had, it should be fine, just need some decent actors for the main roles, are there any action movies these days that don't use CGI?
Never watched Avatar (because I wasn't interested in the space space edition of dances with wolves) so I can't say how good or bad the CGI will be if they made the movie that way, but I can't see any other way of them getting around the more complex aliens you would see in an ME movie, or the sheer scale of the environments they will no doubt visit.

Ehh, I say if you don't like the idea of the movie, don't watch it. I might be interested, but only if it's not about Shepard.
The charm of ME has always been being able to have that bit of control over Shepard's reactions and such, and watching a movie where you obviously don't have that interaction feels like having control ripped away from you.
If they decided to make a movie outlining another character's experiences, or even a completely new character in the setting of an important point in history, I would be much more interested.

Uwe Boll would have done a better ending. And that's sad...
