Have to admit this is a good thing, I'm really sure they wanted it to be paid DLC but, made it free as a nice gesture.

Those new characters look pretty badass, I might have to come back and play some multiplayer when it releases. Still anxious about whether the Extended ending will solve any of our problems with the ending, but you can't complain about awesome free DLC.

does noone understand the implications of this? This is fascinating. Consumer revolution about the ****ty ending and day 1 dlc and we actually received content for free.
It's completely rational by bioware b/c they knew if they charged for this, given all that is going on, they would be economically devastated in the long term. It's a business move, understandably, to placate us and shut us up. Sure in the short term they would make some bucks, but they would ****** off a LOT of people into not buying later.
It's also admirable, and enough so to have my thanks. Thank you bioware.
Now regarding the summer free dlc to "clarify" the ending. Don't clarify, retcon the hell out of it. get rid of it.
Still, I am pleased that the fanbase's reaction is netting results. we must take more matters into our own hands before gaming becomes an expense akin to a mortgage lol
to give into being placated, KROGAN VANGUARD MAN I DREAMED I DREAMED HOLY **** HOW I'VE DREAMED!
