Time isn't free. Limited play time means some have more opportunity to earn in game cash....while others prefer to purchase a few packs to get a boost.

The point that many people seem to be missing is that you do not have to have the best weapons in the game to be able to play well and competitively. The weapons/mods/characters all enhance and improve your efficiency and ability to play but aren't 100% necessary.
If you look at the free content with the ability to purchase the items you want sooner, you will see that is no different than alot of other companies are doing. I think it is great. If you have the desire to farm credits and make purchases via in game money, good for you. If you are in a hurry to try to get items and choose to pay real money for them, good for you too. The money goes to the dev's to further pay for their time making additional content or even helps pay for future games. Look at LoL or GW (1, not 2 yet) or any other game with microtransactions funding them. You a) don't have to pay for a monthly sub and
All that aside, people will put these decisions of BW into a positive or negative light as they so choose. More importantly, hopefully we'll all find out waiting until 12am PST wasn't for naught so we can enjoy some of this free DLC in the next hour or so
EDIT: from the perspective of playing from an N7 Rank of ~1030 now and having a majority of the weapons and all of the classes via credits earned in game. I love that we don't have to pay to play if we choose not to.

a friend of mine from Xbl gave me an update he saw a "tweet" post from some developer i guess and that he said it should be out around 12 AM PST don't quote me on this to be accurate but thats what he said to me which for me their 5 hours ahead of me which its about 8:30 am for them atm if i did my math right since its 3:30 am for me so i think about 7:30 am my time they should have it idk tho i could be wrong about my "time frame math" lawl... >_<Yajuu Omoi wrote...
