Wow! Putting aside my aversion to MP for this particular franchise and trying to give it a fair chance (I do MMO for a MP experience) I purchased well over a dozen of the "special packs" and did not get a Geth Infiltrator. It would have been so much cheaper to simply let me buy one directly for $10 or even $20 at the extreme. I'm so frustrated I don’t think I'll be playing MP much as the credits costs in game are astronomical and then there is no guarantee for anything and the points purchases are rather expensive for RNG action to boot.
But it doesn't actually COST anything??? So where is the problem? A few rounds with some of the other classes (which you should now have plenty of if you are buying the spectre premium type packs) and you can afford one of the top packs easily, so it's not like they are making it so you can't play, or only have a few options for classes to play, now is it?
The time it took you to browse the forums and write your post you could have finished at least one round and been able to just about buy one of the decent packs for around 20,000 or so.
I play co-op for an hour or so and I can afford a spectre premium pack easily, and I like that you can do it this way, rather than grinding forever just for one class upgrade.
I agree, it should be more fair, rather than keep giving things you already have (I have been given a few of the same character/class types now. But since I get plenty of other stuff in the packs and I haven't even tried some of the species' in certain class setups yet, I don't mind too much.
I DID, however, get a geth sentinel earlier (I think it's sentinel anyway), and they are AMAZING. Kick ass all over the place, with the geth turret levelled up a bit and a half decent assault rifle, I end up top of the scoreboard every round without even trying.
