Too bad Shepard didn't get the same treatment...

Yep, Shepard acting so out of character in the last few minutes is a big part of why the ending sucked, didn't make sense, and was not satisfying. Plot holes...I can come up with creative explanations for those and still be kind of okay. Space magic is not actually terrible there. But Character holes...no, that **** is not okay.

Holy crap. Of course. No payoff with the characters. No resolution. Just expectation built up with what used to be the final conversations. They just either are a) killed  never mentioned in the ending or c) appear randomly on the Normandy. So yes, that's why I lean on that statement b/c of the endings.
