@jsunakasully confirms on twitter that questions were not prescreened. I mean, people really had those questions in mind.
Because you can believe everything you read on Twitter.
This guy was making a live feed (a poor one indeed) on twitter.
Can't see any purpose for him in lying.

Take that as you like, but let's not go down this conspiracy road again.
No those were just regular non-obsessive fans and that is what they care about. They made the effort to dress up and go to PAX and those were the questions they wanted to ask.
Dare I say that was the silent majority? I think I shall!

lol
Public events for game companies have taught me one thing, and one thing only.
Gamers crap their pants when put in front of the game developers and are so busy afraid of being an outcast in the face of their revered gods the questions they ask go from "What the hell is the Starchild and why?" to "Dur hur hur, will I be able to romance my Batarian MP character hur dur hur."
Sorry, but it's been a couple of minutes and I'm still finding this really funny. I have partaken of a glass of vino, but still. You Are Very Funny.
Haha. Cheers.
Its partially based on a true story. Ive been to a lot of game releases, conventions whatever, never seen anyone ever ask about a serious grievance they've had. Did meet some friends of friends once who were adamant they were going to ask about something with the direction of an anime story or some such, when they got their chance, they froze, asked about becoming an artist and then tried to convince themselves it was because they didn't actually have an issue in the first place, or that it wasn't the best place to ask anyway etc.

RETAKERS PWNED WITH LOGIC!
They contine to be in Checkmate. The last gasps of a dying dog.
Allow me to enlighten you on how a game of Chess works.
This is called a Check. Checkmate means the game is over.

I KNOW THEY FEEL. THIS HURT THEM. Especially since they lost 50-75% of the people after closure/clarification dlc.
Glorious day my friends, glorious day.
Reign of the Pro-Enders has begun.
Listen to yourself.
You sound like a villain from a cartoon.
Even if you 'won' today and you didn't, you are still outnumbered by Retakers 60 to 1.
I doubt vocal minorities outnumber Pro-Enders 60 to 1.
I heard a lot of Pro-Enders asking questions at Pax, what happened to the Retakers?
They seem to rage and fade away...
Dude... do you know anything about statistics? Honest question.
The reason I ask is that you may not be aware that BioWare already confirmed with the community that they realize the vocal group of 50,000 by basis of statistics is actually representing 500,000 or more people.
The PR even admitted that.
You may want some better terms to insult 500,000 people with.
Hey Minty, don't avoid the cold hard facts.

I think people should start getting reasonable again. all this smashing... they already said yesterday there wouldnt be new info except the extended cut news. QA was as long as it is for the other panels, that there wasn't asked your most important question, well thats life.
the lvl on this thread is unbelievable low, personal flames against bioware and also for the fans who asked the 'wrong' questions. If this is the your way, please do what many said already: leave forums and bioware, but don't shout out you wanna kill something or whatever. people really should act like sane adult persons instead of flaming all whatever bioware says. well go on with whatever you want.
Most of us have been perfectly civil for a month, and for that BioWare has seen fit to slap us in the face and troll us.
Exactly. One can only take so much of their speculation bull**** before it reaches a boiling point. I hope their first paid DLC tanks, absolutely tanks. See what their artistic integrity means to them then.

And we have to choose between 3 solutions, Spacebaby's... Same as earlier, if Tali is racist what's their opinion on the green and red endings? (the blue is the usual "I become/ally with the bad guy" nothing special to say about it).The Angry One wrote...

Spacebaby is Galactic Hitler, I thought everyone already knew that.
Yes, but now BioWare have basically admitted it.
There are 3 Renegade endings, it would have been easy to avoid that terrible ending message, just one more possible choice, a real Paragon one would have "saved" the spirit of the game. As it is currently, the game ends on "f*** ethics".

Most interviews have plants to ask questions to take up most of the time if it is potentially negative.
So they probably were paid to rush.
If they were going to pay why risk the wrong person getting to the mic? Why not select the questions themselves?
If you were in charge, would you want it to be that obvious?
This way if necessary, they can confirm they didn't prescreen and that they asked the questions as they came for 5 minutes instead of 10.
Dude will you take of your tinfoil hat for a second? This isn't Watergate ffs. If anyone had asked a question about the ending they could have just said "That will be addressed in the Extended Cut DLC". Paying people off is unnecessary and very risky if you are caught doing it.

So? What was there to lose by asking them anyway? If people want to ask difficult questions you shouldn't be able to get off the hook by ignoring them. The only other people who make a habit of doing that are politicians and look at how little respect they're held in.aliengmr1 wrote...
Was the crowd asked not to ask specific ending questions? I mean, was there an understanding that the panel wouldn't be talking details about the ending?
