People - there was no selection of questions:

Take that as you like, but let's not go down this conspiracy road again.
Most interviews have plants to ask questions to take up most of the time if it is potentially negative.
So they probably were paid to rush.
If they were going to pay why risk the wrong person getting to the mic? Why not select the questions themselves?
If you were in charge, would you want it to be that obvious?
This way if necessary, they can confirm they didn't prescreen and that they asked the questions as they came for 5 minutes instead of 10.
Dude will you take of your tinfoil hat for a second? This isn't Watergate ffs. If anyone had asked a question about the ending they could have just said "That will be addressed in the Extended Cut DLC". Paying people off is unnecessary and very risky if you are caught doing it.
This isn't conspiracy, this is admitted and well known at many locations, over many times, and a lot of cases have been at PAX as well as NUMEROUS places, E3, GDC, hell even non gaming based. It happens everywhere, it's part of basic PR. You pay people, EA has a huge list of confirmed instances of paying people to do stupid or questionable things, and there is no short supply of takers.
Advertising costs hundreds of millions for EA each year.
As for what they couldn't counter..
If anyone asked them about how they screwed over their supporters with all the false advertising, and how they can explain the potentially illegal statements they made.
