MintyCool, sorry but no. Working at Mcdonalds is a job. It's how a person (like you) perceives that job as being an insult. Saying you work at mcdonalds isn't a "insult" per say. Calling retakers Dogs, however is...

Who doesn't like dogs?, I think you're just perceiving that as an insult.

XD Dogs and fast food workers hardly have the same cognition. Though your flippant remark remains entertaining.

Ah yea, no gravity to pull such a giant object into earth`s atmosphere, sorry, space magic wins again :wizard:

If it's in orbit and above the atmosphere to begin with the bits will remain in orbit and above the atmosphere.

As for the PAX, both sides are to blame: BW for blablaing about irrelevant things for 80% of the time,
and those dumbasses for asking ****** questions.

Thank God that thing didn't last longer, or my monitor would suffer great pain.

I mean seriously, you get unique opportunity to ask CONSTRUCTIVE questions, and you decide to be a total jackass asking about face animations and such. -_-"

According to the lore, the Citadel has mass effect fields. We can be fairly safe in assuming that if there's an explosion, those fields are likely compromised in regards to keeping the Citadel in stationary orbit. Hate to trump the space magic, but Einstein/Newton rule that scenario. The Citadel would break up under its own inertia and fall to the nearest gravity well, which in this case, is Earth.

Unless the explosion provides significant kinetic force...

An object in motion towards a planet tends to stay in motion you know.

Ok, i admit, it looked alot closer in the cutscene :?
Still it will come down one day due to gravity if not moved

Would people please stop blaming EA.

Even if EA created the ending (they didn't) and forced Bioware to use it (again, Casey Hudson and Mac Walters created and implemented it) Bioware is just as fond of the ending as EA.

They support it completely.

EA may be a bad company, but its Bioware that lied to fans, dismissed our concerns about the ending and now try to buy us off with Free DLC that most of us didn't ask for.

My point is, if you want to blame someone, blame Bioware.

BW = EA subdivision = part of EA = EA
BW + EA = Mass Deffect mixed with space magic :wizard:

Actually it will probably fall.

Because a stable orbit requires a ton of momentum so that your satalite is always falling forward.  The Citadel will have no forward momentum and thus crash into the Earth very quickly.

Also the Citadel is so huge no one but the Reapers could even conceive of moving it.

Right. The Citadel was sitting directly over London with 0 speed and not that high as geostationary satellites. I.e. it was hold in place only because of mass-effect. After everything blows up it should just fall down.

Are there anything left of Bioware besides the name? Doubt it. It's EA, no matter how you call it.

Well, ****.  You got me there.

Still make sure Bioware doesn't get off as the struggling artist company being forced into crap by evil EA.

Being in orbit means to have pretty significant speed. It would rotate with about from 1 to 2 hours period, judjing its position from screenshots. I.e. it could not stay over London in the same spot. Which proves it was not on orbit but held in place by mass-effect.

Either it's in orbit or it isn't. If it's not in orbit and just being held above the Earth then it will fall (and not break at all until it hits something, ignoring for a second that it blows up anyway), although what the point in putting it in such a position would be I don't know.

If it is in orbit the explosion will change the orbits of all the pieces. It's possible that some of those will then have orbits that take them into the atmosphere; how likely that is depends upon the height of the original orbit (lower == more likely), the size of the explosions (bigger == more likely) and the size of the piece (the smaller bits are more likely to undergo a greater change of orbit). An eventual ring of debris around the Earth, with the smallest bits coming down every now and then, would be the most likely result.

Hmm, that point sounds fair enough. I don't feel like watching the wretched scene to be sure though.

It was said that the these next few days were gonna be big or something...what the hell happened? While I do appreciate the audience for being respectful (well except towards renegade Sheps) and all, but seriously, MP maps and skins was the super big announcement that was gon a make us want to keep our ME3 copies forever. I understand not wanting to talk about the endings and the EC DLC due to spoilers and etc. They brought up story arcs, but only talked about Tuchanka for 10 minutes; what about Rannoch, and even more important, the REAPERS? They didn't need to out right explain themselves, but they could've explored more. I really expected something BIG, but all we got was crap to appease the new gamers that care more about MP then ME. Bioware, what is seriously going on with you guys lately. Are you all trying to lose your company? I don't want to see you guys fall this low, but that's what I am seeing, and it is a real shame. It's like having a lover and you find out that they've been cheating on you and using you for money.
