After yesterday's ending DLC announcement and previous announcements relating to planned DLC being set prior to the ending, I did wonder if Bioware would create a DLC revolving around the fate of the people on the Citadel.

I know this might be a little controversial, but I just finished my second playthrough last night and noticed that the Citadel's arms close when it is in orbit of Earth. There's time for people to escape, and some must have fled since I was able to call Zaheed prior to the final mission... and he'd been lurking on the Citadel for much of my playthrough.

That and the artbook says the piles of bodies Shepard passes in the end are Cerberus; although I've not looked close enough to see what species are piled up in that final corridor.

Its not such an insane idea that Commander Bailey along with other - surviving - people you've met along the course of the trilogy might try to pull together and resist the Reapers long enough for some civilians to escape. Even if it means these playable characters die (or flee cowardly leaving people-fodder in their wake to distract the Reapers long enough to escape) it would be interesting.

I guess as it runs parallel to the Cerberus assault, it would get inserted into the narrative after Kai Leng's defeat.  You find out from Vendetta that the Citadel is/holds the catalyst and there's nothing you can do to stop it.... camera fades to black and then switches to Bailey pouring over some reports before all hell breaks out.

That might be a bit intensive though, so perhaps it could be a standalone module accessed through the main menu after the 'defeat an old enemy' achievement/award unlocks.

This is just a thought experiment bouncing off the idea that there would be some 'Reclaim Omega' DLC on the distant horizon.
