I use the Asari Adept a lot. Its one of my my favorite classes and the class I was most excited about since hearing that we could be different races in multiplayer. Now that I am seeing the Asari Justicar Adept I am curious what does she offer that the regular Asari adept cannot?

From the trailer it looked like she could deploy a biotic shield for your teammates.

Foe one thing, i saw in the trailer that she can put a big biotic bubble thing out, like the shield the asari creates on thessia in the single player

If the "bubble" is indeed one of the abilities, it'd be nice to get the character unlocked. For one, I can see it being very useful for activation waves :)

The bubble would be great for reviving squadmates but I doubt it will stop a Banshee, Brute, Phantom, Geth Prime or Atlas

I'm worried about the bubble, but obviously I have no idea how it works. If enemies simply can walk through it and begin dealing damage, I'm not sure how great it is since many enemies swarm and bull rush instead of standing ground and firing. I hope the Justicar is better than it looks.

So, in other words, the eneimies you would deploy a shield to protect from.

Barrier/bubble and Pull are the only two powers I saw the video demonstrate. I hope she also has Warp, Throw or Stasis to setup combos with. Pull isn't as useful for combos since it doesn't work on shielded or armored units. That bubble barrier would be great for hacking initiatives, especially when the spawn points are right on top of you.

From the trailer it looks like she has:
Biotic Sphere
Pull
Warp/Throw

So we have pull, defensive bubble but what about the third power. I'm hoping for some ability to detonate pull e.g. throw but this combo will only work on unprotected targets. If she gets warp then she wont be able to detonate it if all she has is pull and bubble. For team support she looks great but not sure about being a big hitter like her adept sister.

Asari Justicar Adept

  • Asari are fierce, graceful warriors. They are incredibly powerful
natural biotics. The asari excel at hit-and-run tactics that ruthlessly
eliminate their opponents from the battlefield.

Samara was a Justicar, she had Pull, Throw, and Reave, plus better weapon skillz.

Throw and reave would be dynamite and my dream combo but this looks unlikely given that we already have pull and bubble.

I am going to guess Bubble, Pull and Throw.

She'd be unable to set up her own combos on protected targets, but play as an excellent support class. This would give some distance between the 2 Asari Adepts, which I'm sure was BioWare's intention.

Reave + Throw would be awesome, on top of having the barrier bubble to protect you/your-squadies etc.

Pull will stagger armored enemies like Pyros. You can pull them toward you or if you are good at curving... pull them right in front of a charging Krogan... which is what I like to do.

Halo bubble sheild for asari and Geth seems to have armour lock , could introduce problems since no one likes armour lock but i think its cool.

I never cared much for Samara's abilities. Especially compared to Mornith's. I hope Mornith is around if she survived in ME 2 I haven't played my playthrough with her yet.

Adept though I wish they had a Justicar vanguard too. Adepts are my favorite class but I think Vanguards for justicars make more sense.

+1 if you'd prefer Hanar Spectre for Multiplayer.

+2 if you want Star Child class (passive bonus, "Utter Bull****" All enemies on the map are confused and hurt themselves because of it).
