Just to clear up the confusion about her active powers, they are the Biotic Shield Barrier, Pull, and Reave. Essentially making the Drell Adept useless.

Where's the info saying she gets Reave?

Drell adept is more for offense rather than defense, if you know how to use grenades mixed in with the constant reaving for BEs. The new asari can help a group turtle when things go awry. They're both designed to be team players anyway. I can see the asari justicar setting up the biotic shield out in the open then a bunch of snipers stand up to have a clear view of everything while outside of cover but inside the safety of the shield. Let's just see how this skill really works though and if it's a viable strategy on gold.

I may be mistaken, but I think the new characters were up for demo in PAX?

An Asari Justicar Adept's booty is more licious than an Asari Adept's.

Can any devs confirm this?

it wont have pull and reave for the same reason it wont have throw and warp. its easy to question biowares thought process, but i dont think theyd make the classes that similar. the classes need variety, not overlap. im guessing itll be bubble shield, pull, and throw. also since theres no pull/throw combo on an adept yet.

i think the vangaurd will get slam, barrier, and charge.

I get the impression it's going to be a much more 'offensive' biotic class, as opposed to the 'support' role that the current Asari adept tends to favour. More durable in combat, and some real clout when it comes to powers.

Between this and the Krogan Battlemaster, I reckon many of these new characters will do for multiplayer what the Firepower Pack guns did for ME2 - they're likely to be radically different from the more balanced 'generic' characters, and require a very specific way of handling them, but it'll be a lot of fun getting the hang of 'em.

I've gotta a feeling that the bubble we see will use up the characters shield while in use
