You clearly have a different idea of ME than i do, respectable though that you did not give anyone crap for asking, but this is partially agreeable though. Death to DLC's!!!!!!!!!

Death to DLCs indeed!
But I don't see why I should be giving crap to anyone for asking. I mean, pro and anti enders won't ever find an agreement, I think. It's rare enough that one side ask for explanations from the other side. So when given the polite opportunity to speak, why shouldn't I ? ;)

I read a lot of explanations about how "the endings were okay, but a lot of points were still shadowy at best. We want more closure, more explanations!
This, I could agree with. Changing the endings, I couldn't understand.
The DLC which is meant to bring said closure is announced, and now every anti-enders is suddenly saying "Not what I wanted, Closure is not enough, I wanted another, alternate ending".
Woah, Woah! What's the hold-up? You were saying X and when you're given X you're suddenly asking for Y ?

There are serious anti-enders with valid opinions out there. I have a friend who didn't gave a crap about the endings, he found them ok, but he had concerns about the London mission, lacking epic breath. I agree with that.
Unicorns and Rainbows ending, though, I can't.

In the end, I was sort of agreeing with the "closure" dlc, which would have been a good agreement between pro and anti enders. Not changing the ending, not making new endings "cannon", while at the same time giving more meaning to them. But now some anti-enders suddenly bring something new to the table, something that they were maybe ashamed to aknowledge in the first place They want a super-mega-happy-ending-<3

This new DLC fulfills 2 of MY 3 demands so i am pretty much good, but will still rep for the third. Their is simply no possibility for a rainbows ending in ME, because no matter what happens millions have still died some closer to you than others, and atrocities have still been commited... by both sides.
Yes as an anti-ender that whole "we just want closure" thing may have just been a facade by some of them who were afraid to admit that they want some disney action.

You should be. BSN is a forum for people that like BioWare games. Unfortunately, ME3 bucked the trend.

People who like something are usually not that passionate about sticking around a hateful area, unless it was something worth fighting for like...lets say.. Civil Rights.

You can still remain anonymous and vote in the polls.

Check this out. People that love something voice their opinion too:

http://www.amazon.co...s/dp/0439023521

The Hunger Games has over 6,000 reviews on Amazon with a 4.5/5 star ranking.

ME3 has a bunch more reviews than ME1 and ME2 and still only received 2 out of 5 stars. ME1 and ME2 received 4.5/5 stars.

I think people don't like the ME3 ending.

People who like something are usually not that passionate about sticking around a hateful area, unless it was something worth fighting for like...lets say.. Civil Rights. This on the other hand, its just too much effort, and for what? To change a few minds here and there? To say, hey, it wasn't bad? Who will listen? When it rains it pours. People after a while just got beligerent. Nearly every. little. thing. just blew them  up! How many rational people would stick around or even care? There is just all around too much aggression and hatefullness. Someone started a vitriolic thread the other day about how the gun sounds were too ''crap'' and bioware should be fired for it, and it just kept steamrolling till it was closed. I mean, its just gotten out of hand. Its just a raging mob now. Anything and everyting will set them off, even if its so damn small and meaningless.

ME3 is such a damn game, this lot is really taking away so much more than it is giving. Damn shame for the game and the team that made it.

Incoming text wall regarding the numbers and it should be very clear.
Look at it this way Either way if end-changers are a
minority it makes end supporters an even smaller minority, End supporters care
enough to voice themselves, so do changers, but people who simply are
(un)satisfied and don't care enough to say anything probably do not oppose any
future changes and will probably accept them,  they are not in any crowd so don't claim them,
and not all of these silent people are quiet because they do not care, I will
bet that the majority of them are anti-enders
too. Those who have voiced
themselves have revealed pro-enders to be a minority. So, out of the two groups
that actually count, pro-enders are the smallest, and there are a LOT more
anti-enders than 60k be certain of that.

You can say "Well that's just the people who come
here" and write those numbers off. But there were polls on Facebook,
Twitter and various gaming sites that all showed the same thing: an
overwhelming majority of voters disliked the ending.

And even if was a "vocal minority" that had a problem with it,
Bioware wasn't honest about what the ending would be. So even if you don't
agree that we're a majority in this situation, it is a principled stand.

If I say that I think people who like to romance Tali are retarded, that doesn't constitute "malicious namecalling" that just is an example of overreacting to a negative opinion i may hold.

Just like that guy exaggerated in saying people who liked the ending are retarded.

Just like you exaggerated in "reporting" him.

I won't deny that there is a SIGNIFICANT chunk of ME 3 gamers that didn't like that ending, but that doesn't make it a majority. Ten-percent to twenty-five percent of a crowd can dislike something, but that doesn't make it a majority. So far there are absolutely no conclusive stats as to what the majority is or isn't. I have taken enough statistics and pulbic records/information source analyzing classes to understand this.

That being said. I didn't keep up with the marketing before the release. If anything, I expect some amount of PR bull****. However, this PR lying fact is just becoming a tool to latch onto lately and used to disrupt any disagreement.

Yes, as i said the majority is the group that doesn't care, but there is still a significant amount of people who do not like it vs the small number of them who do.

So, to be clear, calling people who have a different opinion "f**king retarded", to you, is acceptable behavior.

There really is no line one of your "group" can cross that's too far for you, is there?

I found I had hard time replaying the game because I was sad the journey was over. As is often the case many times with several games/movies. The journey is over and finished, and we can never play as Shepard in the future again.

I dont know how many others felt/feel this way, but I think that this is also reason why its hard to replay. But with the endings so unsatisfying for many, they rolled their emotions into blaming the ending.

We can probably never tell, but I'd like to beleive there is a significant amount of that.

Its not the reason for me. I was just so disapointed with how it ended that I don't see a point in playing again. The choices don't matter much. Gameplay is fun, but not that fun. I really feel like that was the only time I will ever play ME3.

Well apparantly the new DLC will add some consequences probably through epilogue slides/cutscenes. I am excited for that. I think a lot of people will be happy about that.

Funny how this whole thread is spent on anti enders trolling pro enders including the OP. I guess when you can't win their cause they tried for over a month on, they have to feel they need to win something regardless if it's an internet fight lol. Don't you guys need to hold your wallets or go say hai to CDprojekt Red?
