There should have been no "We destroy advanced civlization of organics to save all organics from synthetics" And the starchild should have not even existed.

There should have been no dark energy idea, which I'd admit I have little to no idea about. From what I understand, the idea was to destroy advanced civilizations to stop them from growing out of hand and causing dark energy to consume the world or something? Makes me think of Gurren Lagann...

The true motive of the reapers should have been... Never discoverd. Uncomprehensible. All we know is in the end, they want to bring Order to the Chaos and destroy us all. They are just cold machines that see everything needed to be brought into an order, a silence... Every 50,000 years they come, harvest, destroy, and leave to wait.

What do you think? Also if someone knows more on how the dark energy idea was going to go, please elaborate.

Discuss.

If the Reapers were left that much a mystery, they would've come off as pointlessly malicious robots who harvest the galaxy for no reason besides the fact they can.

Which is WORSE than what we got.

I think it would have been silly if they'd been left as just evil machines who implemented a ridiculously complex system of evolutionary cycles "just because".

Far prefer the clever irony.
