After all the time is spent on perfecting the look of my characters, importing them into the actual game from the character creator completely jacks up their faces. What a waste of my time...

I found a way around it.... Load the character, move forward to the customization area, move anything and itll set some preset automatically (at least for me). Then hit back all the way to the char select and it'll look like the character creator one. If you try to change pretty much anything except voice its gonna default to a preset... Loading into the game to confirm this works now....

I didn't notice any issues importing my characters. Guess I'll have to double check them.

Yup, totally friggan useless... You cant even correct, and any attempt to modify resets the character.. What a friggan joke... I also have a human that has some sort of dwarf background.. go figure on that one... EA haunts us forever.. and is now ever closer to being banned completely from our household. They just deveoured and tainted Bioware.. we have no future... Run I say.. Run and forget this path of entertainment

Seriously. My characters all had jacked up faces. I ended up deleting them all and starting over. What a waste of time that was. I spent a good 20 minutes on each character too.

Can you save characters and edit them in the Final Version? Or is it pretty much one-shot?

I noticed this within the creator itself. I made a few chars in the creator a week or two ago. I went back in to look at them or touch them up, right after creating them, and they didn't look the same. That didn't seem very helpful to me.

To the person who asked, no you can't edit them in the Final Version. I found that out the hard way when I tried changing the skin tone. It defaults to the original character.

So I assume it's best not to use the character creater

Alrite - I have a FIX for this problem, as I had the same issue.

Choose "Import from CC" -> notice how your chars look "strange" and different. Pick the odd-looking character you had made so beautiful in the CC demo, move any slide a notch and WOOPS he turns into a default preset... now what?

Well - now press BACK until you get back to the screen where you chose the import CC character you wanted to play as. OMG? Now he/she suddenly looks perfect again! WOW! Happy happy!

Sometimes you have follow the choose -> slide -> back -> choose again procedure multiple times until he/she regains the original CC Demo look you created!

GOOD LUCK! ^_^

i cant believe i wasted hours in the pre-launch character creater, perfecting my female elf rogue. once imported she has every single tatoo plastered over her face. if i try to change even one facial setting in the game her face instantly changes to a default face. what the hell.

Strange. I currently have had no problems. Could some people's CC downloads have failed & perhaps corrupted? Might be worth a try to re-download the CC.
