I'm sure everyone is mixing the armor options up.

So I'm wondering, what is everyone's armor setup?

The reason why I'm asking is because I'd like to see some suggestions for Infiltrator and Vanguard setups.

For a my Vanguard on my first run i went with 20% Weapon Damage/ 5% Head shot damage/10% Power Damage/20% recharge speed. On my second run with X weapons i run with 20% Weapon Damage/ 5% Head shot damage/30% power damage.

Inferno armor for an adept is great. It works great with the vanguard too.

It's less dependant on class and more dependant on what you're wanting to do.

My Adept runs with Serrice Shoulder Pads (+10% power damage), Kuwashii Visor (+5% Weapon Damage/+10% Headshot Damage) and the rest made up of Rosenkov (-30% cooldown reduction).

Depends on your strategy. For my soldier I use either Cerberus armor, Collector armor or Terminus armor. For my adept I usually use Inferno armor. I find the full sets of armor have better stats than mixed pieces.

I just use what looks cool mainly.

I have:
Capicator Helmet(for 10% shield replenish)
Kassa Chestpiece(10% shield replenish)
Ariake shoulders/arms
Armax legs

I have 50% shield replenish.. I can get 85% with Javik and Kaidan in my group. My shield starts to regen almost instantly after it is hit lol.

Ha!

I went with all Serrice Council on my Sentinel in an attempt to make biotic explosions even bigger.  I am not sure it actually made all that much difference.  So I went back to my ME2 strategy of form over function.

Inferno armor for my adept.

Note that using the special armor sets give you +60% extra stats, while selecting the individual pieces gives you +50%, if you are trying to min/max.

Also have to consider that the 50% is all in one stat.

I'm a vanguard. Barrier,Shield, Health, Recharge they mean nothing to me!

In all of my playthroughs, I only prefer maxed-out weapons damage and headshots.

Biotic explosions do a set percentage of damage, and are not affect by Power damage buffs.

I use the N7 Defender on my male soldier, and whatever looks good on all other classes.

Recently, I was using this combo:

Kuwashii Visor (or when unlocked Delumcore Overlay is an option too)
Weapon Damage 5% (or 10%)  Headshot Damage 10% (or 5%)

Hahne-Kedar Chestplate
Weapon Damage 10%

Armax Shoulders
Weapon Damage 5%  Headshot Damage 10%

Armax Arms
Weapon Damage 5%  Headshot Damage 10%

Hahne-Kedar Legs
Weapon Damage 10%

Totals:
With the Visor:
Weapon Damage 35%  Headshot Damage 30%

With the Overlay:
Weapon Damage 40%  Headshot Damage 25%

Only combos so far that I've seen that can give a very useful 65% boost to increase damage potential.

Hrm. I have a Sniper!Soldier and uses roughly the same as yours. Maximising Damage over anything else. Insanity is extremely doable to a level 60 anyway. I also used the same set up for hardcore - lvl 30 to 58.

Helmet: Recon Hood
Chest: Hahne-Kedar
Shoulders: Hahne-Kedar or Armax (Depends on what I feel like wearing, but HK looks cooler)
Arms: Hahne-Kedar or Armax
Legs: Hahne-Kedar (Shepard-Commander does not need more Ammo. One Bullet. Nothing More)

None of the non-customizable armor sets interested me. *Shrug*

I found mixing armors works best when the un-customizable armor doesn't do what you want it to do. I have 20% bonuses to power damage and recharge, but my helmet gives me 10% weapon damage and 5% headshot damage.
