No, unless I'm playing with someone right next to me in RL I get bored of MMORPG's very quickly, whereas single player games I always come back to.

I you want a mmo then pick one, there are enough mmo's around. Every sp games has to become an online thingie. I'm sick and tired of it.

I would not play it. I am not opposed to multiplayer DA3....but only if they make it a game that has nothing to do with the Official Solo Campaign. The biggest worry, is that the solo game will suffer, if they let issues on the multiplayer take precedence.

 Yes, Yes and Yes!

SWTOR is one of my favorite MMOs of all time. Been playing it since launch and plan to play it for many years to come. With SWTOR, Bioware has proven that they can innovate within the genre and I believe a DA MMO would be absolutely amazing. If this is completely off the table, I would put my vote in for full on multiplayer, not the arena style from rumors. I believe that Bioware has the tools and the talent to truly revolutionize the multiplayer RPG space.

THIS

THIS

Seriously it's bad enough Star Wars was made into an MMO and not KOTOR3. I play single player offline games for a reason (actually several).

-There's no reason I should pay a monthly fee for a one-time buy product
-I don't always have access to online
-Most mmorpgs have little to no story, and even if they do they require you to have RL teammates online in order to get to good areas
-Most mmorpgs are a fetch-quest laden grindfest
-I'm not a loot/level focused player...I'm a story/roleplaying/action kind of guy
-I don't only play with one character and most MMOs pretty much force you to invest a heavy amount of time into one character

That's why I play Dragon Age: Origins, Dragon Age 2, Icewind Dale, Temple of Elemental Evil and Mass Effect and not World of Warcraft or *insert token mmorpg out there*

Exactly, good list. Also, MMOs bring real life drama to my escapist fantasy. I've got enough of that in real life, thank you. Even if there is a decent story, my buddy's always going to trump my game, so roleplay goes out the window.

Plus if there's an MMO, there's no single player, single purchase RPG, which means I don't have a game to enjoy. I want to have a Dragon Age game I enjoy every so many years for as long as it's feasible to make them (assuming they're made right), A DA MMO would mean I wouldn't have those games to play, just like there's no KoTOR3 for me. Lose/Lose.

At the DA panel at PAX the devs said there were no plans to make DA into an MMO. But that if they ever did it would be a long time before they undertook it and it would never replace the game as a pc/console series.

That's not really any answer to the OP's question, so... nope. I have enough monthly bills and video game addictions already.

To be honest, there is another, better, option Bioware could consider. If you look at the stir Diablo 3 is causing, a game that had no customisable characters or 'epic' storyline like DA, I think Bioware could and should consider a Baldurs Gate-ish coop mode.

It would be competing with Activision, it would give you platste the chance to share their expriences, and coop gameplay is much more like single player then a mmo can be, so you won't alienate the single player people completely.

Egghhh, it would have great difficulty replicating the singe-player experience for countless reasons, and consequently, it wouldn't be Dragon Age. It also wouldn't be anything like you imagine in terms of the size of the game. Origins was not even Ferelden, and it did not have the countless other things MMORPGs have to deal with.

So, for the reason that it would undoubtedly be awful, no, I don't want a DA MMORPG.

@ZTalkerRM: Co-op is a good idea, but only if it had a single console local network option. Co-op isn't co-op if you can't see your comrades IMO.
