To be fair, anyone who knows how to use a class effectively is alright by me. It's the one trick pony that just charges all over the place and right into the hot zone that just irk the ever living s*** out of me.
Agreed!

Those that hide in corners or get stuck on stairs/terrain on purpose to avoid being targetable and just wait out the entire match.
Vanguards are fine to play with, I suck at it so I don't play it much, I love using engineer, and even if a crappy vanguard charges in and gets killed all the time I can handle it with turrets and incinerate. Besides, more time the mob stands around focusing on one corpse the less time they spend on shooting the rest of us.
So in the end, I don't mind the classes, but the crappy players that keep using them wrong or do nothing at all. Even pairing up with good vanguards isn't that bad when they zoom around killing everything...I can only imagine what the krogan version will do in about a week...

Well tbh aslong as VG's don't go charging into the mid of enemies, especially those ruddy Pyros then they can do it , however it gets hard to take care of those pyros with a sniper if they are walking about trying to kill a VG that decided that jumping infront of 3 pyros is a good idea , then again that is not the class, well not completly,. it is as another said an idjit, I supose something I dread more then VG's playing Heros is Krogans playing Tekken or w/e it is they do when they go around charging headlong into enemies atleast VG's do it with charge
A properly spec'd vanguard can absolutely charge a group of pyros or just about any other enemy group on both bronze and silver without any problem. The issue lies with the enemy LTs if you will: Ravagers, banshees, primes, and combat engineers if they have laid down a turret. The key is not charge into an area that cuts you off from the rest of the group.

Because honestly? I love infiltrator, but if you play a Salarian Infil with a widow/black widow. Just go to gold, more money. Less ruining of fun through killing EVERYTHING for ppl playing other classes.

also, people with a high n7 rating who want to level up their level 2 characters in silver. the player's experienced, so they won't die- so long as the rest of the team can carry the extra weight. around half of the pick-up silver games i've played fail anyway, so i don't want to handicap them right out of the gate.

Actually I meant to use, not to play with, didn't catch the meaning of the topic, my bad lol
I have no problem with other classes, if players know how to use them

if we are talking about abilities then I would also say Cloak... hearing them phase in and out every 2 seconds makes me think I have a Phantom or Hunter aiming for my **** >.>

I hate playing with people who cry about "kill stealing." I swear this is a coopertive game so stop crying. I also dislike the people who just sit in the corner and let the rest of the team do everyting.
Second sentence is result of the first. Why even try when one man armies do it all for you. I will admit, I occasionally 'sit' in a corner and don't do much. Set up combo...bam, it's dead. Ok...next targe....oh it's dead. Um, why try? Don't mind me while I sit over here and I sip on some tea, KSers don't need help do they.

I'm not talking about snipers and such who are actually looking for an opponent to take out. I'm talking about people who acutally do NOTHING. they sit there doing absolutly nothing. basically taking up a playing spot that someone else could use.
And on higer difficultly like siver and gold. Vangaurds can't go at it alone because they will die so they will need there team. That's way a stated the team has to back them up. They're not doing everything. That's why I don't usually play bronze because there are vangaurds that will kill everything in sight.

Actually a decent VG can treat silver just like bronze and results in same thing. They don't need a team. Only in gold is where they will need other players.
I agree, but the ones I've ran into seemed to be team players. Which is why I have no hate towards them

And that's basically the biggest problem I have with Vanguards. They sadly do have a tendency to quickly race around 2 corners and with that out of sight. Mobs they skipped and only got partially damaged start following them, and the entire battlefield becomes a mess. Too chaotic for a sniper to line up properly, too spread out for an adept to detonate.RSX Titan wrote...

It's as if they forget that making a few steps back could put them in safe cover, giving them a moment to see what's happening on the battlefield while recovering their shield, let snipers and biotics sort out their stuff for a moment, and then move on again. A good Vanguard controls the battlefield, goads the enemies into positions that give the squad as a whole an advantage.
