1. Weapon cooling. I understand that the thermal clips cause a new element in gameplay. Forcing hte player to abandon cover to resupply in a hostile environment. And looking at "From the Ashes" DLC with the particle rifle, they kept the code to do a decent cooling/refiring. I don't know if Bioware is going to open it up to the mod community one day, but I would love to see weapon cooling return. Combined with thermal clips, would be the best combat adaptation for ME. Do you wait for your weapon to cool? Or do you make a run for those thermal clips in no man's land?

On a side note I got irritated everytime someone shouts need ammo in multiplayer. >.< I would buy a DLC that added weapon cooling. Or even a weapon mod that gave it.

P.S. I caught the Conrad speech on thermal clips. I get the idea that weapon cooling was proposed and rejected. But one can always hope for changes int he future. Maybe it was copywrite issues from the first ME? Alot of games use heat... for all we know Halo made a stink about it cause they got there first with Covenant weapons.

2. More multiplayer tasks. Instead of waves - have instances that are similar to the single player campaign. Protect the hostages, protect the tanks, get heavy weapons to take down a hades cannon, hold the barricade, protect thanix missile launchers, etc. I know this would take alot of effort on Bioware's part, but the DLC would has high potential to be worth it.

3. Heavy weapons return. Currently multiplayer has only one heavy weapon - the insta kill rocket. It is useful, but when compared tot he variety of heavy weapons available in ME2? Not to mention some of the weapon pickups in ME3? The variety available could add alot to the expierience.
