I'm guessing R2-D2 and C3PO were too easy for anyone to list? I doubt the rest of the Geth platforms have 1,000+ programs, so Legion's out. Realistically it makes sense to name one Unit <number> or Platform <number>. Otherwise, techy names or acronyms. Hex sounds kinda neat (short for Hexadecimal). I also kinda like Switch.

y is a random letter (use a random number between 1 and 26 and use the corresponding letter)
m is either The letter "I" for an infiltrator and an "E" for Engineers.
